It has been quite a while since I've been active, and since I still appear to be getting comments, I wanted to make a few announcements regarding some of my stories in progress.
I am marking The Ravaging of Princess Celestia as complete. I originally had the idea to write a less tragic ending, but it has a fair ending on its own now. Even though I don't like the way it ended, it's its own story with its own meaning now.
The same goes for A Night with a Bat Pony. I originally had the skeleton of a story idea, but it has never grown muscle. It can stand on its own as is, a complete, completed story.
Filling the Gap, although an old treasure, deserves to be given a proper burial. I do not intend to finish it. I do like OctyxScratch pairing though, as more recent stories have demonstrated, and I may be writing a spiritual ending/sequel to the story later.
With the mortician's report out of the way though, I want to report that I'm still alive and very much a writer in the abstract sense. I've just been very slow about publishing. I've tagged Angry Kissing because I've had some recent interest in that story. Although I have in mind to continue it, I also have been for some time giving serious consideration to a lengthier story that deals with the Dazzlings. Unlike A Night with a Batpony, this one has some concrete structure to it, and some real meat; I even have an ending for this one and several planned scenes in detail.
The reason I mention this is that I intended in part to incorporate some of the dynamics of Angry Kissing into this new story. I fear that for me to work on both a sequel or new chapter to Angry Kissing and that new drama would be for one to cannibalize on the other. I wanted to ask everyone on their thoughts then. To whomever is still awaiting a continuance, would some like to see a new Dazzlings story with an established plot-line, or is everyone at the moment looking for more immediate closure?
Given it’s been several years getting some more immediate payoff to resolve Angry Kissing promising setup would be better.
A conclusion on Angry Kissing, or at least being worked on would be pretty nice. All for new stories though, would definitely read them.
