Now I don't normally get involved in this kind of thing, it's not really my business how an author behaves and carries themselves.
However, this particular incident got on my nerves for several reasons, not least of which being that the author in question took it upon themselves to silence valid criticism then used the deleted comments as an excuse to play the victim. When I brought up my own criticism I was told to "Fuck off dude".
If the subject of this blog post were to come across this, I have a few words for them.
Due to your very valid criticism of my comment, I have updated my documentation to make the images more easily viewable.
Thank you for bringing it up, as I was rather tired at the time and simply wished to put my opinion across and be done with it, which lead to some rather lacklustre editing.

Contained within that google document are a number of screenshots, chronicling my personal experience with this author, including their exchange with a previous commenter as that was what proved to be the final straw for me.
Some of you may be asking, why did I go out of my way to make this blog post? Why not simply let bygones be bygones, leave them to act as they please?
The answer to those questions, is that I believe people should be held accountable for their actions, that other people deserve to be warned if they are going to be interacting with someone who has a history of hostile and vitriolic behaviour.
I believe that people should not be able to just sweep things under the rug and continue acting as they had; if you commit to being antisocial, you'd better believe people are going to react by calling you out as loudly and as publicly as they can.
Edit: My original title was made in a rather heated moment, I was advised to change it because it could be interpreted as defamatory. Furthermore, I removed all references to the original title from the document
I understand the anger. Trust me, I do. And I believe that all criticisms that don't devolve into name-calling should be at least observed. However, right now your letting yourself be dragged down to that level. Don't name names. Don't name a story. If you have to vent on here, don't give specifics. If you want to vent on a chat server, just be careful about upsetting owners. Right now this doesn't look good, no matter how badly the situation was handled.

At this point, I think the damage has already been done: removing the post would just result in more drama than there already has been, which is something I'm sure we'd all like to avoid.
Furthermore, keeping things anonymous whilst far more respectful would have defeated the purpose of the post, which was to warn people of a particularly toxic individual. Whilst I realise that some people might see this as overbearing or simply unpleasant, I felt that I would have rather been warned of their behaviour (which I have since been informed, was not limited to this single instance) than have to experience it first-hand. The very point of communication is to streamline the learning experience and that includes socially.
The post passed initial scrutiny from Majin, but should a moderator contact me or simply take down the post I will not fight that, despite the fact that I believe I was in the right on this occasion it's still not my site.
I completely understand if you or anyone else feels that I acted rashly and made myself look the fool, but I stand by my decision.
I was there. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, they fucked up and removed a bunch of stuff that didn't need to be removed just because they can't handle legitimate criticims.
