Gilda & Applejack, not much out there.

Here's a story idea. Gilda and Applejack become friends. Yeah, it's a wierd pair, but hear me out. Gilda strikes me as the kind of character who puts hard work into what she does. She grew up in a crummy village where I assume they hard to grow their own food, so I bet Gilda is familiar with farmwork. She puts effort into making her scones, as seen when Pinkie & Rainbow visit. I think based on her work ethic, the griffon would get along with everyone's favorite farm pony.

Of course with her agressive attitude, there would be tension in this relationship, which would make a good story as we watch her overcome this attitude. She's just a jerk to everyone because that's the way it is in Griffonstone, but Gilda strikes me a a chill person if you get to know her.

I think the two would meld well, say for instance Gilda had to work on AJ's farm for some extra bits. It's a wierd idea, and I specialize in wierd ideas.
