I despise photobucket. It keeps loosing pictures, dropping my uploads, being a colossal pain in the skidplate.

Does anybody have an alternative photo uploading site? I'd like to drop photobucket like a reversed neutron flow.

I said to heck with it and went full Imgur.

The way life's going, my comic upload speed has been abysmal. But, I'll never say this is anything but a free-time hobby. You can thank a fellow photocomic maker's return for inspiring me to actually upload what I've got put together.

I'm also gonna stick to smaller uploads in the hopes of making them faster.

And I'm gonna tear Photobucket a new one.

Wow, that is awesome. It really did start out as a noble rebellion by the working 'bot against a corrupt elite, so long ago. But without any kind of larger ideology or ethical framework than "revenge" and "getting ours," I suppose the Decepticons were always going to become corrupted.

It also makes a good point of course those ridiculous names were chosen by the Decepticons themselves to make themselves feel tougher, I bet Starscream's pre-revolution name was something like "Star-tracker."

So did you switch to imgur, and are you liking it?

Perhaps if I'm ever given a reason to loath Imgur as entirely as I loath Photobucket. Photo-CHUCK-IT, am I right?

At the moment, though, Imgur gives me everything I need with no additional baggage.

Of course, also just like real-life politics, there's no clear-cut case of "they were good now they're bad." Yes, the Decepticons attract the baser elements of society, but they've got some good eggs, too. Same with the Autobots, as we'll see coming soonish...

The IDW comic have a really neat take on this. They have given "real" names to a great many transformers, usually some latin word. For instance, Optimus Prime started out as Orion Pax, and Glitch was originally named Damus. Their Code-names eventually became more recognizable.

Now, the transformers born during the war, well, they were usually made for a specific purpose--a specific battle or the like--and thus received only "code" names. These were the MTO's; Made To Order troops. They had a life-expectancy of three minutes.

Its soooo much better. I feel bad I didn't know how good it was, I coulda been using it for months. I'm gonna switch all my comics to Imgur once I get a good opportunity.
