Since Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I love the month-long spooks, I decided to do something I've never really done before. Cutting right to the chase, I want some good horror ideas. Any type of horror is welcome, be it psychological, body horror, etc. I'll be taking the best ideas I receive (along with a few of my own) and creating what I call "The Nightmare Night Collection". Basically an anthology of horror stories starring our favorite ponies.
If you'd like to contribute with a story idea, comment it down below. I can't guarantee I'll make something of every idea I receive, but a fair amount of them will probably end up in the collection. Everyone who contributes will be credited.

Oh wow, this looks fun! Can I suggest "mirror" as a prompt? As in, some sort of paranormal flicker in a mirror? Or just the unwinding of one character as they slowly notice more and more things off in the reflection? Thanks! Happy Nightmare Night!
Twilight, Spike and Cadance find themselves lost during a trip in the mountains, and they stumble upon a mansion which happen to be inhabited by vampony mares.
If you are interested by this idea, any ending (happy end, mixed, bad, ...) is fine for me.

The School of Friendship welcomes a new student: a white reindeer named Tarandus. Chancellor Neighsay is sending him as a show of faith in Twilight's abilities, and gives her a warning 'not to trust his kind' along with a book on the horrors of reindeer.
She neglects to read the book, thinking he's a regular young boy in need of understanding. The fact that he's white apparently makes him an outcast among his own kind.
At the school, all the students are eager to welcome him, except Ocellus. She immediately knows what his white fur means, but she's terrified to tell anyone.
The name tarandus is a reference to a mythical beast that could change colour. In reindeer, the fur changes depending on what type of magic they can do. The most dangerous kind is the white one: those can control minds. The idea is that they evolved so that the ones who were most powerful in making others see things that weren't there were the ones who stood out most in the forest, and blended into the snowy wastes where they'd be banished to. So Twilight now has to deal with a boy who can turn anyone against anyone, who can appear innocent when he wants to, and who has been taught his whole life he is evil by nature. He has no reason not to do whatever he wants, with whomever he wants. And any attempt to discipline him can result in him playing the victim card.
It'd be psychological horror, mostly focusing on how Twilight deals with her ideals being challenged, especially when Neighsay gives her a 'reason you suck' speech about not reading the warnings in advance. As for what he does, exactly, eh, you decide. Gaslighting, causing arguments, inducing infatuation to eliminate competition...
If you want something more physical: a pegasus (Scootaloo if you really need a specific one, but any will do) starts hearing voices. The voices are coming from a wing parasite, or more specifically... the wings are the parasite. They've lain dormant for generations, and now one is awakening, looking to take over others by waking up the wings. "Spreading your wings" now becomes a chilling phrase that means spreading an infection. Again, mind control (kinda my thing) but you can go a lot of different directions with it.
Edit: I wonder what the downvote is for. People don't like reindeer? Or they don't like parasite fics?

Sweetie Belle finds a creature thought extinct and takes it to Twilight. Scootaloo bumps into the creature and the creature creates a curse over ponyville
Twilight Sparkle Will get killed and then her friends fall into a deep depression because of losing their friend, And eventually Rainbow Dash start taking drugs
