    April, with many a day…

So I just spent from the third through today (sort of, still have some driving to do) on holiday. Went to Dallas to see the Eclipse in totality, swung though Hot Springs for… well, the hot springs, and finally St Louis for a lovely riverboat dinner before bidding the Boyfriend farewell and starting the trip home.

    Well, I started it...

All Good Things... has commenced. I may have a chapter of it up tonight.

I really want to start closing out the unfinished stories, but sometimes you just can't get back into the flow for them. Sorceress and the Siren is one, Into the Wilds is another. Which is sad cause I love writing Azure.

    Homecoming, in retrospect.

Homecoming as a series is a glorious mess. I’ve gone on short bits of fluff, created some … unique ships, twisted the fabric of canon EqG, and even touched on some dark topics.

    Don't you just hate it...

When you can't find something when you need to?

Case in point, I went looking for a comment where they alluded to It being like Frodo saving the Shire for everyone but himself and had to sail to another land to find solace.

But I can't remember what fic or anything else.

    And it's frustrating to me.

    Meanwhile, in other news...

    For those wondering....

    I am working on Truth.

“What are you doing here?” Sunset stammered as she gazed at her father. Emotions swirled inside of her, a maelstrom of feelings. Confusion, certainly. Some anger, long-simmered and cooled into bitterness. A bit of joy, but just a tiny bit.

    Mostly confusion though.

Red rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s a long story,” he hedged.

It’s that time again..... · 2:29pm Oct 2nd, 2018

Halloween is approaching. My favorite time of year. A time when the veil between reality and make believe gets just a bit thinner and you can feel a bit of supernatural seep into life.

It’s the start of boot season, sweater weather, harvest fresh vegetables, hay rides, corn mazes, ghosts and ghouls and goblins and all manner of ghastly beasts come alive with bonfire tales.

I love Halloween. I attempt to dress up every year and this year will be no exception, hopefully. My plan is to do Raven from Teen Titans vs Justice League, but we’ll see how that goes. Hopefully I don’t wind up working that day, since we can dress up as long as it’s within dress code and not scary.

Killjoy.

Anyway, as per usual, I’ll be doing some Halloween fun this year writing wise. A short little fluff of my Midnight and Aurora trick or treating with Sunset and Twilight at the tender age of six and five and if I can come up with a way to do it, maybe another trip into the Dreamscape escapades of the Homecoming Cast representing the Fairy Dance arc of SAO.

Speaking of which, I need to get back to that alternative SAO fic I’m working on over on FF.net. Hmm.

Also, In a little over a month, my two year anniversary on the site will strike and I’m not sure what to do for the occaision. It’s just one of those things that is hard to decide how to celebrate. This last year has been a major high in my writing. I was part of SunLight Sliders 2, met a metric tonne of great folks, started dating one of the best people I could have met, and enjoyed some of the simpler joys of home life.

And next week, I get to take a short vacation, my first since March 2017 that’s more than a three day weekend. I’ll have off seven full days if it get approved and will spend my evenings writing and gaming. Ralaxing. Baking more than Pinkie Pie.

I may have come into a Mary Berry cook book.... :twilightsheepish:

So keep an eye out, good things are coming.

Something darkly cute this way comes.
