September Update · 3:24am Oct 1st, 2018

Time sure does fly, doesn't it? This time last year I succeeded in completing an entire month of writing every single day. Didn't manage to do that this year, unfortunately, but it wasn't a completely lost month. Next month kind of has to be different though. I actaully hit a milestone on patreon and now have to provide at least 10k a month as promised, so look forward to that, I suppose. Have some Sunset before I bitch about life after the break.

Okay, well I said it was better than nothing. It kinda looks worse now that I'm actually seeing it on here though. October kinda has to be better now because of monetary obligations, so I definitely should have something out within the month for you guys.

I know you've all heard this one before, but life should be progressing towards something not so awful soon. I'm going to be quitting my current job because it's making me miserable. It's going to be rough because I don't have anything else lined up yet, but I have a couple ventures I'm looking into that will hopefully work out and make me a lot more money than I ever could currently. Here's hoping.

I really do want to say things are going to get better, because honestly all they've gotten is worse in the last three years. Each year I hit rock bottom thinking things can't get worse, but then this happens:

Between the suicide of my old best friend, my dog getting killed by a truck, and my social life eroding to nonexistence because of my new job, things have been astronomically more difficult to deal with than in the past. Nobody has any sympathy for someone who just wants to complain all the time though, so I'm gonna keep trying for another year and a half at least. Sunset needs more love to and I've really lost sight of my mission on that one.

That's all I've got to say this time. Here's hoping next month will be more positive. For those of you that'd actually be interested: If I changed my patreon to be a monthly donation instead, would you be more inclined to help me out?
