Tonight I learned about the suicide of Scribe-Feather. For those of you who don't know me, I have a long history of mental illnesses and suicide attempts, and it really got me thinking. I saw so much of myself in him and in his writing. I saw the heartfelt tributes posted on his page, and it really made me think if I ended it all, would it effect everyone the same way? For the first time, I considered the idea that my actions might go farther than just me. Seeing the effect he had on so many people really touched me. So, after posting a eulogy to him on his page, I began work on my latest project, which will be dedicated to Scribe-Feather's memory. He was a bright light in a dark world, and I hope that I can make him proud with this new story.
Rest in peace, Scribe-Feather. We miss you.
I’m sad but I don’t know how to say that without sounding like a jerk, so I’ll just say:
I’m sorry.
