Ok, so, here’s the deal. I will finish the current arc of Pony Plots, however I do not know exactly when I might do so. I have decided that the final chapter needs to be split, as it was just going to be too damn long, otherwise. I have the first part finished now, technically, but it is in need of some severe editing to make it publishable. I was sort of “In the zone” while writing, which meant that I wrote that part of it up really fast, but that’s also a problem. There are several things that need to be added to or taken out, several characters that are mentioned at the start and then not seen again at all, and just a lot of little things that need to be fixed. All that said, I should be able to handle that this Thursday/Friday while I’m off work, and have it ready to go for Saturday.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to get part two of it finished by next Saturday, as well, but I’m not sure yet. Just as hopefully, it won’t require any more parts than that, but I dunno.
Now. . . . On to the important bit. While my muse is pretty well back, she’s also not really getting in to Pony Plots anymore. At least not right now. I DO have an idea for a future arc, but it’s got a specific storyline to it, and now is not the time to be working on it. That said, I have zero ideas for how to continue the story after this arc, aside from a one-shot chapter or intermission, or maybe a bit of clop, none of which is actually going to be big time storytelling.
Suffice to say, once this arc is finished, I will be putting Pony Plots on hiatus, until sometime next year, probably March or April, depending on how real life goes between now and then. That’s when I’ll start working on the aforementioned special arc, although I don’t know when I’ll actually start publishing it for reading.
However, FEAR NOT, my ponies! I will not leave you without some small horse words for your comfort! As I said, my muse is not really feeling Pony Plots, but she IS back, and having a field day with some new ideas. I’ve got an inkling for some more one shots, a la Pinkie's Day Off, that will more than likely be E rated, just as that story was. I’m also toying with the idea of writing a full on, one-shot HiE clopfic featuring either Rarity or maybe Butterscotch. Maybe you lot could let me know which of those two you’d rather see?
And, most importantly, the main event! I’ve already started work on a new Anthropomorphic, alt. universe series that will be structured similarly to Pony Plots, being short stories separated into arcs, that will hopefully be able to fill my Saturday update slot once Plots is on hiatus. It will be Teen rated, rather than Mature, but you can expect a lot of potential lewd humour and saucy dialogue, perhaps combined with the occasional bad pun, or bit of good old fashioned violence.
However, as far as the storyline for this new tale, I will say nothing except that it was partially inspired by the ending to the episode Dungeons & Discords. That is all. Thank you.
Anyway, ponies! I hope to hear from you all, and will see you soon! Harmonia Aeternum!
Fyren I look forward to everything you will be doing and while I am not a major reader of Pony Plots, I do recognize how hard it must have been to write. Keeping an overarching plot (heh) in what essentially began as an excuse to indulge clop fantasies with your favorite fictional characters is an accomplishment and one not many here have done. I am not sure I could do it. So I commend you sir on the accomplishment of your oath taken task. Please, noble warrior, go forth and adventure further into the world and do onto others before they do unto you. Remember, It is all fun and games until the flying monkeys attack, afterwards it is just fun. And if Life ever Hands You Lemons, Pelt the Bastard With Them, or if you are so inclined find someone that Life is giving Vodka and have a party. In short I look forward to what you have in store and I wish you luck in your endeavors. May the One that Is Three and The Three that are One guide your path.

*Bows to the wisdom of the Irish.* Thank you, Minaren! It means a lot, coming from you, as you are one of the first authors I started reading seriously on this site. I shall take your advice to heart, as well as your own strength that you have shown recently, as I move forward. Hopefully, the next big thing I do won’t be quite as jumbled and messy as Pony Plots has been. Anyway, enough mindless rambling! Let’s kick the lute in gear and get the drums going! Life is a party, after all!
