Things just took a turn for the sinister.
OK, straight up honesty? I did not expect the Sinister Six in THIS game. Doc Ock, yeah, saw that coming as a slow-burn final boss situation.
The entire collapse of Manhattan at the end of Act Two? The creation of the Sinister Six out of FREAKING NOWHERE? REALLY did not see that coming. Also, rare instance of Ock forming the Six as anything other than a Kill Spidey Club.
Rhino, Scorpion, Electro, and Vulture all looked pretty badass, BTW. Oh, and so does, well...
What really got me is that Ock just freaking unleashed a bioweapon on the city without hesitation. My GOD, Otto, why?! Your very first act as a supervillain (well, second act as a supervillain) and it's attempted genocide?! DAMN.
So now the entire city's burning down, the police are on the endangered species list, Sable has turned what's left of Manhattan into a war zone, and Spidey is Public Enemy #1. And the Six are out there, somewhere, in all this madness.
My last act of today's session was to break up one of the prisoner encampments. These are...way, way tougher than Fisk bases or Demon bases. X_X (In that the guys are EVERYWHERE and there's twice as many as normal, I mean.)
Act Three's gonna be the most intense part of an already intense game...

If you thought the end of Act 2 was intense, wait until you get to the end of Act 3. It's a feels coaster the likes of which has never been seen in a Spider Man game before.
You were really caught off guard? This was a big point of one of the lead-up trailers. Or did you already say you didn't watch those?
Most people had the reverse reaction that you did. The Sinister Six and their first five members were confirmed in trailers but they kept Doc Ock a secret for the reveal.
What really concerned me was watching Aunt May cough up blood on her medical mask, that does not bode well.

This is probably my favourite incarnation of Doc Ock. Oddly enough I can't remember the last time Doc's origin didn't involve the arms getting fused to his spine.
Yeah have fun getting shot at every 5 blocks bro. The Sable guys are pretty tough especially the ones with jet packs but as long as you have your tripwire web you should be fine. Otherwise make sure to web them up before you fight them.
I like how they got Dwight Schultz to play vulture. It's a pretty good fit. Although all I hear is Dr. Animo from Ben 10.

I always go into a fight with Web Blossom locked and loaded and unload with it before I even hit the ground. It really helps with crowd control. I don't switch up gadgets much during the fighting, I actually do better if I rely strictly on old-school webshooting. Oh, and nice spoilers for the Arkham games I've never played and was going to probably play next. Is that your thing, just randomly dropping major spoilers for games all over the place? >.>;;
Yeah, that whole second act was crazy intense. The Six beating on Spidey was really genuinely suspenseful to watch...
And yeah, Otto's Devil's Breath stunt? Holy shit, man...

That entire beatdown scene, I was on the edge of my seat. And yeah, when Otto unleashed the Devil's Breath, I was so shaken, I literally whispered "My God, Otto...what have you DONE?!"

I just really did not expect that moment. I just figured that Devil's Breath would serve as the dangerous threat of the story, that it would never actually be cracked open right in Times Square. I legitimately gasped in shock when I was proven wrong.
