Advice for fimfiction writers who have recently joined. · 6:30am Sep 21st, 2018

Are you new to fimfiction? If so, here's some advice.

Looking for a proof reader or editor? There are groups dedicated that. https://www.fimfiction.net/group/97/looking-for-editors is an example. Looking for a front cover for your art? https://www.fimfiction.net/group/295/art-for-fanfiction
Do you want constructive criticism or positive/negative/blunt opinions? Just post your story into groups, don't be discouraged if or when you do get negative/blunt comments, instead use their words to motivate yourself to keep writing and improve on yourself.
If however you don't like those sort of comments, then you can disable the comment section to prevent comments.
If you don't like seeing your story having or getting a lot of dislikes, you can disable the ratings.
If you don't like having your story posted into groups you don't want them in, then you should go your story, click edit, then scroll down till you find Featured Groups by Default, click to turn it off, then click Save.
If someone is being a bully, you can go to their profile and block them. However, if they're going a bit overboard with their verbal attacks, you can report them on their profile.
If you wish to improve your spelling and grammar, there is a writing guide for that. https://www.fimfiction.net/writing-guide

That is all, I just wanted to throw my two cents in to helping out writers who are either new to the site or they're new to writing. If possible, I would like for my blog to be shared among others, please and thank you.
