CoffeeBean

There goes my hero.

  • TLife In Boxes
Luna has learned a great many things since her return, but a coincidental meeting with a young mare in the dead of night leads her down a long, dark road which has been purposefully shunned away from the world. Her hope; shed light upon it.

    The Paradigm Shift.

This was bound to happen. I do hate for it to happen, but... such is life.

And then, out of nowhere, Chapter 11 is published!

Whoa, I actually got it done. Feels... good.
    I hope everyone likes it.

    Back!

I'm home now, and luckily, I got a lot of work done on chapter 11 while I was in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. I'm gonna do my best to get more work done so that it's not another 3 months before the next update.

    Away from home.

I'm currently up in Utah right now with my Grandpa and cousin. On Saturday we depart for Idaho for a bear hunting trip, which will be good for writing, funny enough. Hunting is 50 percent walking, 45 percent sitting totally still, and 5 percent "oh fuck is that an animal".

    So... Chapter 11...

Work was moving along nicely, it really was. Then... I slowed down a bit and looked back at what I had written, and I did a little rewrite, and then I began to really look at what I had done and... I decided a total rewrite of the 4000 words I had was in order.

Life's in the way. · 12:12am Sep 19th, 2018

I now realize it has been a whole 2 months since I published a chapter of 'Life In Boxes', and for that, I apologize. Not only have I been in a horrible state of writer's block for the last month, but I lost my job three weeks ago, and I'll be moving back to Phoenix as a result. These combine to form a perfect storm of not being able to write jack shit. I've actually gone backwards in progress; a week ago I had about 2,000 words of chapter 8 written, but now I've got 300 because I didn't really like what I had.

I've been trying my best to get this chapter to a place I want it, but it's been strangely difficult. To that end, I actually made some progress last night. I dunno, I'm not giving an ETA because I had no idea if it'll be a week or a month until I've got something to publish. Just know I am working on this story, and it will be complete at some point.

This message is especially for my few new followers who have come here because of the Seattle's Angels review. Don't worry; this story won't be in the works for eternity!

Nah man it’s understandable

These things... they take time.

The story's awesome, but you've gotta make sure your life is awesome first. Thanks for writing for us.

Tbh, man, we’re getting this for free, you can take whatever time you need. Heck, I follow a yearly-updated fic...
But please don’t do that to me

what breathes lives

what lives is what needs to live

it takes time to both breathe and live. I hope you find some time.

Ah shit, I'm sorry dude. I hope things go on the up and up for you, as they deserve to. We all go through such periods, and if it's anything like my own, you'll surely get out've it. Best of luck!

I'm honestly not too worried about moving back or the fact I lost the job. My parents still live in Phoenix, and my bed is still in the house, so I've got that. I thought this job was going to be what I did for the rest of my life, but a multitude of things ended up making that not the case, so I'm going to pursue the one thing I've always wanted to do, and the one thing I've always felt I should do: flying UH-60s in the US Army.

My grandpa was an Army aviator, and for as long as I can remember I too have wanted to be an aviator, so that's the path I'm gonna take.

You probably worry more than it necesary, many writers takes much longer to upload their stories. But you have decency to explain the reason of the delays, something most people wouldn't even bother.

Be happy with what you're doing and I'll paciently wait for the next update.
