Apologies Aren't Always Enough - An Alternate Ending · 10:22am Sep 18th, 2018
Good Morning!
As I’m aware that some of you who have followed this story up until the latest chapter didn’t like that the story took a different direction back in Chapter 5 where Sunset did indeed survive stabs she received in Chapter 4. But, some of you weren’t happy that this wasn’t going to be a tragic end. I’ve given it a ton of thought since then and you know what? I’m gonna write the alternate ending which is only a small percentage done.
I’m basically taking Chapters 4 and 5 and inserting them with some new dialogue, edited paragraphs and such and working it to where it’ll flow to the alternate ending. However, it will be a ONE SHOT. I will not do multiple chapters as that is too much time consumption that I don’t have. When it’s complete, it’ll be posted on my page as normal. It’s not a prequel or a sequel. It is a STAND-ALONE Title and is NON-CANNON to the story as it is an ALTERNATE Ending. Thought I’d do this to bring peace to myself and for some of you who would’ve liked to know what would have happened once Sunset passes away and how her former friends and her family will react to her death and where it goes from there. I’ve been curious myself. Now, it’s being made a reality.
Like I said, It’ll be done when it’s done and done right. I’m working on this by myself and may get help from the current reader of this story to look it over before being posted.

There wasn’t really an original ending, even in the Canon story.
Like I said, this is the Alternate Story Line but not canon. This is basically stand alone as to not confuse readers. But, for a original ending, I’d assume that this alternate story will be that original ending I suppose.

I meant will there still be an ending where is Sunset doesn’t die? Even though there are some who would prefer a tragic ending, there are also those who prefer a happy ending.

In the canon story, Sunset has already survived her injuries and made a full recovery.
With the writing of the Alternate Ending, It gives me the idea that I should go back and re-write all of the chapters I’ve written. Basically to clean them up and fix all the mistakes I made. I just haven’t had time to do so in the past but am working on this Alternate Ending every chance I get.
