But seriously. I grew up in a small(ish) town with 10+ ISPs in the area, and the one my family had for nearly a decade before we moved had fiber internet. No slowdown or cutout except for this one time when there was a blizzard that ended up shutting down practically the entire city.
Where I live now? 2 ISPs, and they're both known as two of the worst companies in America.
