    Soon!

I think I've used that blog title three or four times now.

Anyway! New chapter of Spectacular Seven is almost done! I was hoping it would be done this week so I could post it on Saturday, but I need to rewrite a scene. And that's before I edit it! And before Drakey edits it! The good news is...

    Ten Years, Still Here

I think back to my nascent days here, reading stories and typing out my own, hoping for the day where I could call myself a veteran of the fandom. My stories would be remembered and I would stand alongside authors like Pen stroke and Aragon.

And I look where I am now and go, ‘well, you got one big hit. Good enough.’

    Thank You

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe or spread the word for it. It really means a lot. Thanks to your donations and getting a little more on my first paycheck than I thought I would, I should be able to stay afloat again.

My Turn to Ask for Help

    Hello friends.

I'm trying to raise money for me and Amber Spark after we suffered an accident with a U-Haul truck. The link to the GoFundMe page is here.

Best Zebra and my Twentieth Story · 5:18pm Sep 10th, 2018

My entry for Oroboro's Shipping Contest is live! Contrary to popular expectation, it is *not* a Sunlight fic.

Albi, are you feeling okay? Should I call a doctor?

I'm fine, I'm fine. Just wanted to try something new. Zecora is an underrepresented well of untapped potential, especially in the EQG world. And no one's ever shipped her with Sunset before.

And y'all know I like to be ahead of the curve.

So, go partake and hopefully enjoy my twentieth story here on Fimfic, starring everyone's favorite zebra and pony turned human! Tell me what you think! There's a possibility I might expand on this world.

Does, that make you a hipster?

I loved bookplayer's story about Zecora and Sunset, so I'm really looking forward to reading this one.

Also, I'm surprised that you "only" have twenty stories on here. Suprised probably because I've read so many long stories by you.

What's funny is that I'd actually been planning on writing something involving Zecora and Sunset, or at least entertaining the thought. The story would start with Sunset being in love with Vinyl Scratch, who was recovering from heavy drug abuse, and things take a turn for the worse. Sunset finds Zecora after looking up professionals who help with this kind of thing, and Vinyl begins to develop feelings for her honestly, really freaking hot caretaker. At first, this makes things terribly awkward for Vinyl Scratch, who feels like she's betraying Sunset, until Sunset finds out about Vinyl's feelings, and then...

"You... you're all okay with this?"

Sunset laid her hand over the deejay's. "Vinyl, I lorded over a harem of horny teenage girls in high school, sharing isn't something I'm scared of or unfamiliar with."

"In the place I call my home, a far-off land, it was common to see a beautiful one hold many hands," Zecora added with a shrug.

Of course, I'd have never thought of Zecora being a monster hunter, let alone coming from an entire clan thereof, and so you definitely beat me on originality there. It ends a little quickly, but if this was, say, an introduction to a larger series or somesuch, I would definitely have an easier time accepting the abruptness of it. This story really lays out the foundation of something much bigger; maybe something where they find a way to cure Sunset's lycanthropy, but in doing so, unleash her far more terrible demoniac form. Or perhaps they find communities of werebeasts, even something like Autumn Blaze (the chatty kirin in FiM) moving into new territory as a weretiger (something typically far more dangerous than werewolves).
