The one where Jackass makes a cameo.
“My name is Lightning Dust, and welcome to Jackass!” Those donkeys in the crowd have no idea what's going on.
Alright, alright, alriiiiight! A little late on this review, but let’s check out the episode regardless! We see that Scootaloo has a falling out with Rainbow Dash and thinks that this new stunt team, the Washouts, are the coolest thing since sliced bread. So, like any rational child that can’t fly, she wants to try out and become a Washout… even though the majority of their stunts involve flight.
Really fun episode! Nick Confalone hit it out of the park once more! The comedy was fantastic, the moral just as good, and I appreciate the fact that Scootaloo admitted that she couldn’t fly. She just doesn’t have the confidence yet. I believe she’ll get there one day (season 9 hopefully).
Also, did Spitfire just make a Chris Farley reference when she was trying to scare Scootaloo? If so… then I absolutely love Confalone all the more.

I didnt care for this episode one bit. Idk, the episode gives the feeling that Lightning Dust isnt at fault... ya know, the one who PURPOSELY put a child in danger without a second thought... or a first... ya, Karma bites her in the ass for it, but she didnt learn a lesson. Also cause I didnt know the source material Spitfires Refrence joke was doing, it just came off as(still is) cringy and Ill skip over it anytime I get to it. Also... Im pretty sure despite her ego, Rainbow wouldnt force Scootaloo to quit liking something just cause she dont like them. Also Rainbow KNOWS Scoots cant fly in the tryout for introducing Ponyville to the Equestria Gamed episode. So she wouldnt rub in "be like the Flying Wonderbolts" to her like that...
Great episode! Plus, it's also great to see Lightning Dust back into the show. Lightning's right about one thing in this episode: Rainbow and Lightning will always be rivals... forever.
Yeah it was definitely interesting to see how RD handles Scootaloo admiring another pony, and for Lightning Dust to make a return.
Though now I really can’t take Spittire that serious as a drill sergeant since she is just funny yelling at people instead of intimidating.
My big problem of the episode is that it seemed like only RD was concerned over Scootaloo’s safety. Like none of the mane six even seemed that concerned. We get a little scene with Twilight asking Scootaloo if that’s what she wanted, but it didn’t seem enough. Like I get Scootaloo needs to make her own decisions, but she’s still a kid and I feel the parents should decide if the child can do stuff like the stunt show. The writers confirmed Scootaloo isn’t an orphan so she has parents.

I’ve seen some people say that Lightning Dust was out of character. I can see the argument that she got worse, but I can’t really say she was out of character.

Man, I am not a fan of that clown with wings, and now they are copying Knoxville and his gang?! What a self-harming "stunt" for her. Man Lightning "McQueen" Dust, you never learn you "son" of a bitch.
I hope in your story she is one of those people that disappear when Thanos will snap his fingers, and then Lightning Dust becomes a lightning "dust", because she'll live to that name, when she disintegrates alongside some of those deserving, consider it a lesson for her.
Loved the episode, I've wanted to see if they would bring back Lightning Dust these last couple years, glad they did, wonder if we will see her again in Season 9, although I am a bit bummed she didn't get redeemed like Starlight, Trixie, Discord etc, I would've loved to see her join Starlight's growing group of friends XD

Definitely one of my top favorite episodes of this season, and it’s all because of Lightning Dust.
Loved what they did with her character. In most of the fanfics I’ve read on this site, she’s depicted as down on her luck, drowning her sorrows in a bar, lamenting over her getting kicked out of the academy. Instead, in this episode, we learned that she didn’t do any of those things. She moved on and formed her own stunt team, a pretty successful one at that.
Now, the complete disregard for Scootaloo’s safety at the end did leave me a little miffed, but it didn’t seem that Lightning was doing it out of malice, or a way to get back at Rainbow Dash. She was just being a jerk. And that’s just how she is.
And the interactions between her and Rainbow Dash weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be. Sure there may be some lingering dislike for one another to a degree, but not outright hatred.
The only real negative about this episode for me was that Lightning Dust and Rainbow Dash didn’t really reconcile. Of course, this one was more centered around Scootaloo and Rainbow, so chances of that happening were pretty slim to begin with. Sure the “rivals for life” thing works fine for me, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a friendly rivalry, like RD and AJ have from time to time.
Well, we know that she’s not coming back this season, but hey, there’s always the chance that they’ll bring LD back one more time in Season 9, maybe in a Rainbow-centered episode, where the two finally bury the hatchet.
To wrap up my rant, I give this episode a 8/10!

Exactly my point, She and Trixie are Unicorns and Maud's an Earth Pony, we could include Sunburst, but he's also a Unicorn
7/10, though Scootaloo's well being and safety being not on the watchful eyeballs of somepony is startling quite.
