Yes, I am sorry it isn't the next chapter of Fallen Canterlot. It's still in progress, more on that in a moment.

Anyway, for those who don't know, this year is the second Sunset Shipping Contest, hosted by Oroboro. Last year I felt I just wasn't ready to enter, but I promised myself that if it ever happened again, I would.

Fortunately it did and fortunately I kept my promise.

Now, as for Fallen Canterlot, I haven't forgot about it. In fact, I think about it most days. Chapter 9 has just been in a bit of development hell thanks to life, things getting in my way and my own self doubt over the future of the story. As such, I am toying with the idea of writing out the remaining half of the first Act in full before publishing it bit by bit. Understandably, this will take a long time, but I do hope it will improve the quality of the story.

I'm not saying this is what's going to happen yet, but rest assured, I will go back to working on it right away and you will get chapter 9 as soon as it's ready.
