On literature

May be humans should stop/pause/fade out writing specific castrated (for children) literature, and instead try to explain good adult (and for me definition of adult key-based on thinking, not age) themes for actual childrens, for example by telling from memory. Some shrinking will happen automagically. Sci-fi tales looks good, but only if you include remark about current situation with science - it all rotten to the core, because humans who do it currently not better than average humans, and average humans already below level required for even standing up for their own lifelong future. Telling optimistic but false tales only as mean to live a bit longer and into future where you will be crushed by reality anyway (or having your loved crushed by same) definitely doesn't sounds humane, it doesn't feel humane, if my feelings are of any indication. I often feel angry at old (often dead) sci-fi authors because they were wrong type of optimists, and were too successfull in convincing me future will bring more better humans than bad humans, and good humans will anyway have some means to stop bad humans, even if heroically. In reality, those good humans never climbed up, because very process of climbing in human social hierarchies made them..politicians in worst sense of the term. Uncaring too much, ready to give false promises, overinflating their importance ...none warned directly enough about this process! So, for now I tend to think too much of sci-fi decorum and offloading all heavy thinking to mostly very weak readers is not the way it should be done. So, I'm more about 'utilitarian' than entertainment or even supportive role of literature. Sure, by the time you really can start to gasp important concepts about humanity - removing even accidently planted poisoned cultural artifacts of our civilization will require some.. anesthesia? But I still think making texts ONLY aimed at making humans feel better, without explaining sad reality of current world AND at least discussing some potential reasons for this and how some can try to change if not 'whole world' but at least few humans around, in current depleted reality, seems to be untrue way of doing this.
