Average brony obsessing over the main cast with an unhealthy desire to see them in a dark fantasy setting.

:ajsmug: Evening Everyone

:applejackunsure: Hey, it's been a while. Almost two months actually, and I'm sorry about that. ATG killed me, and I didn't even manage to keep up with that properly because my friends were going back to school during one week, and I switched jobs. August was one hell of a month to put it lightly.

So, on to the reason we're here, Super 68 or Persona 16.2 Is out, and that means it's time for me to talk about it. This one was hard to get through. Between real life, work, ATG, and straight up difficulty writing, I had about six actual days to work on it, and even then, I spent that time catching up to ATG, and falling behind. Again. I promised myself I'd do it again after 2017, where I managed to get all 30 prompts out, but this time I fell short by about a 5th of them. We'll see if I have the time to do it next year, but I still think it's a really good exercise. It's interesting to see how my art has come along, even if I didn't really go all in for all but one of my pieces.

On those six days though, I did get some of this done, but I finished most of this on Saturday or Sunday, I don't remember which. Pinkie is evasive, submissive, and guilty about everything that she did. So even after seeing it with the other two families, she still can't believe the reaction of her own family until her mother walks in and gives it to her. And what do you know? It's not as bad as she expected it to be.

I introduce the whole family, and since the basic notion ins the show is that everyone but Pinkie is a practicing Mormon in that family, I took it a little different route so they would play well in my story. Them being completely off of tech makes it very hard for them to know about the situation in Manehattan even though Persona is broadcasting it to the entire country. So, our two young workers don't actually know about it, and mom and dad are the only ones that do. I also cut the whole "We speak in middle English thing" because fuck that, that's hard to write and read, and no one wants that when my writing is already complicated and filled with typos I don't see till I come back to a chapter months (or years) after it's published.

Maud is about as 'normal' as you can get in this family, though she speaks in one tone and is very, very straight to the point. Marble is quiet and shy and... that's probably about all we'll see from her. I don't really have a need for her, so background character with defensive traits she stays. Igneous (and here's a secret) is a dad as I view a father should be, like pretty much all the other fathers in this story. He's a bit more on the not so subtle encouraging side than Cirrus (who's name I made up because he doesn't actually have one), but 200% more reserved than Bow is. On the scale of Bow to Citrus to Cirrus, Igneous is closer to Citrus and Cirrus, where as Bronze Belle (Technically Rarity's father's show name is Hondo Flanks, but once again, fuck that.) is between Bow and Citrus. Sombra and Citrus are very similar in personality, but completely different in parenting style (dude is literally just a soul at this point) but that's neither here nor there.

Cloudy was the one I had picked out to be the most hurt and betrayed by Pinkie's mistake, so she feels the most ire toward her. She's very logic driven but also has very strong emotions, and she does everything in her power to logic out her emotions if at times sacrificing her empathy to do so. As such, she's very quick to jump on things as she works them out. An act as you think kind of person.

The next chapter is going to be Pinkie's life story, and let me tell you it is... so unlike me to be as nice as I am to her. In another story I did, previous to this one, I had a much, much harsher life planned for the girl before she met everypony. And in the next story I'm doing, she has a very, very much worse life than she does here. But for now, she gets off easy. doesn't mean I'm any kind of nice with this, but god damn, I get a hell of a lot worse than I did this time. She goes through some shit, and her reason for becoming a hero is probably more justified than anyone else's, but that's all I'll say on it for now.

:derpytongue2: Anyways, that's it from me. A month will certainly not pass between now and my next update. As an additional note, I'm going to be going back through the story and updating everything to a slightly different format than what I've been using because I've found a better way to do things. Starting next chapter, you'll see it.

Until Next Time~
