Sunset went on a date with Limestone. And Limestone is older than Maud. At least, according to the wiki. So how did Pinkie Pie decide it was okay for Sunset to go on a date with Limestone when it was stated that Maud was too old?
Simple: Pinkie never agreed that she was too old. Sunset didn't think that either. At most, Limestone is a 2 or 3 years older than Maud. And we've established that Maud is only about a year older than the girls. So the largest the difference could be is 4 years. That's not bad at all.
Anyway...that was all for me to think things through :D
Now why did I, as an author choose Limestone over Marble? Some might have that question. And the honest answer is that I genuinely felt bad for her in the Mudbriar episode. She was totally jealous of her younger sister being in a happy relationship. So I wanted to give her a little bit of that.
And after writing this chapter...I think she's my favorite Pie sister.
