Yeah, while everyone else was Tifa or Aerith, I was a Yuffie guy. Also, I encountered plenty of waifu's in my earlier years... I was just too young to actually want them to be mad waifu's at the time.

You and me both, pal- though I admit, my lack of waifus isn’t a factor of low exposure, but rather my aversion to the concept. The closest thing to one would be my favorite female character, Severa from Fire Emblem: Awakening. I really like her character, but I don’t ship her with myself.

I mean, she's literally designed to be waifu material in her own series as is. Tan skin, redhead, and hotblooded as heck while being quite proud of the fact that she looks as good as she fights. A kindly and openly loving person when it counts of course; She's aggressively feminine, not obnoxiously feminine.
