As stated in the description, this was a kind of random idea, and one that some people may find offensive, but it does mirror my own viewpoint, and my own baffled reaction the first time I saw how utterly clueless some people can be to reality.
It’s also the first story I’ve ever written that features the pony I consider to be my favorite, outside of the Mane 6, in a lead role. Starlight, with her backstory,is the kind of character I absolutely love. A damaged anti-hero, trying to redeem herself in a world she feels she isn’t fit for.
