Coming Friday September 7th is the first chapter of the 21st episode of the Canterlot Chronicles, "Phoenix Down"! (Set after "A Bird in the Hoof")
The aftermath of the rebirth of Princess Celestia's pet Philomena takes an unexpectedly dark turn when the pegasi Guards that failed in their protection of the phoenix are unexpectedly found dead by apparent suicide! As the high-ranking officers of the Canterlot Royal Guard discover, Lieutenant Troilus' anti-pegasus campaign is far from dead, and with the help of an ambitious and prejudiced unicorn in the Equestria Education Association threatens to derail the grand reintroduction of the reformed Wonderbolts in a Canterlot airshow. Lieutenant Captain Shining Armor is involved in this effort, and the conspirators want him unable to thwart their future schemes. You'll have to read "Phoenix Down" to see how this swirl of events plays out!
