Cynewulf Plays Dice With the Printing Press, or On the Proper Construction of Lambs, by Elohim · 1:14am Aug 28th, 2018

So.

In light of the Bookstore that will probably be opening up at Bronycon in its last days, I've been looking into the feasibility of printing.

Because of this, I've decided to gather some data. I have tWO surveys for now that I would be very, very appreciative if you filled out. Each is a strawpoll, and thus only has one question. Select the ones that you would be interested in, all of the ones you would be interested in. I'll be using this to gauge feasibility and also make plans.

Here are the Polls!
What Sort of Print run? https://www.strawpoll.me/16349263
Price Ranges (please pick the full range of what’s acceptable to you) https://www.strawpoll.me/16349379

The Basic Stuff
Some details: If I go forward with this, we would probably be looking at decently made paperbacks with custom art for the covers. It would be somewhere between 100-300 pages, probably, and cost 10-25 a pop, depending on what is chosen. Specific figures will be established when I know what I'm looking at in terms of scope and interest. If people want hardcovers, I can look into hardcovers--and if you want them, please say so below.  But--

Basics
100-300 pages (Guessing here)
$10-$25ish per (Again, this is *rough*)
Paperbacks
Commissioned art for the cover
Signed and stuff if you want

Slightly Less Basic Maybes
Hardcovers?
Longer--Night would be in Volumes
If there's enough interest, I may spring for for a few bits of art to insert
More than one run (Oneshots and then novellas, or something?) This one is doubtful
May do a small crowdfund for more expensive art if there's enough interest, or potentially increase cost? It would be like just a little bit more
Would consider doing a run of Original Fiction after

Wait, the what now?

...I have not heard of this.

I saw a post on the book store... but it was a tl;dr type rambling WTF

I'm still planning on being there to help.

I'm so emptying my 401k for this bookstore.

You’re talking to guy a guy with no cash to spare, so I won’t skew the results, but I wish you the best of luck~!!

I prefer hardcovers, but would settle for paperbacks.

I would certainly pay good money for hardcover copy of TNiP.
