Aaaand I'm off again... · 2:27pm Aug 18th, 2018
Hello, everybody...
So, I'll cut straight to the chase since I've already talked about it a few times in previous blogs;
I had the luck of having some of my game designs approved by my college which will provide me with a small fund to develop said designs so I can actually publish it. That, coupled with all my other classes and what not had completely devoured all my previously free time for an unforeseeable amount of time.
I already got about 1/3 of the new chapter of TNQ written, (In fact, you can check it out here if you'd like to) but idk when I'll be able to finish it, since all my efforts will go into writing and design the RPG rulebook my college is helping me fund.
Sorry for taking so long for updates, but this is a chance I can't miss. I hope you understand.
If you're interested in receiving updates on how the book is progressing, let me know in the comments and I might post a few stuff about it every once in a while.
See you all whenever I can! Wish me luck! (I'll need it...)

It's okay, man. Its work, what are ya gonna do?
Also, what game designs? Sounds cool; mind spilling a few beans?

Sure
I'm a game design student, because of that, I'm working on some prototypes for digital games a part of my college degree. However, my college also holds tabletop games like card games, and RPGs as game design projects (since we're also designing games, but not digital ones )
A few months ago, I started sorting some ideas for a classic fantasy RPG game D&D style but set in open space! The game would carry all the core elements of a nice fantasy game like magic, monster hunting quest, taverns and inns and all the other nostalgic feels but put them in a sci-fi-y environment in space. So you would be going around in your "armor" (exo-suit for space travel), and fighting dragons (dragon-like space creatures) with your sword and shield
I've been pitching the core elements of the lore and worldbuilding of this game to my superiors at the project support team on college and they liked the idea of having classic human, elf, dwarf etc. on space. So now, I'm working on the game systems proper.
If everything goes smoothly and my pitch gets approved, my college will give me the funds to hire artists and editors to illustrate and proofread the book, and send it to print for a couple of dozens of Sample books. With all that done, I'll spread the samples on local game shops to advertise my game and hopefully be able to expand it if people like it
I'll also be making then available as digital copies via RPG Drivethru as well

Well, that explains why TNQ works the way it does.
You thought of a name for the game yet?

Nothing solid yet, unfortunately. But, the name that is winning so far is Aetherea
Copyright, trademark, registered, all right reserved XD
Sound legit. Can't wait

Don't worry, I'll try to squeeze in some writing for TNQ as often as I can. I just can't promise any schedules, unfortunately
