Rick and Morty is actually pretty dumb. · 3:18pm Aug 11th, 2018

1. If Rick takes Morty around on adventures so the Morty Waves will make his mind harder to track, why not invent an artificial Morty clone, shrink him down, and put him in a necklace with a lifetime's supply of food and a bag to crap in?
2. Sure, bringing together 10K Ricks from different dimensions might create a power that can threaten local governments. It also means attracting the attentions of 10K galactic governments, each in a different universe. Even if only 3K are adventurers and the rest became their universe's best perfectly-legal shopkeepers or corn dog sellers or whatever, that's 3K universes with governments the Rick army would have to take down or intimidate into NOT joining up with the governments of other universes to overwhelm them through sheer numbers.
3. Changing the value of a galactic currency from one to zero to destroy the government that runs on it is funny, but anyone could set the value back to one at any given moment. Or agree on a "Let's team up and help each other get to the currency control room" plan. Or even some kind of "Everyone in this room, help me fortify the place so the lunatics outside don't kill us" plan. How would a council of supposed geniuses NOT have a backup plan for this?

The "Cool" things you see Rick do tend to only work because the writers want these things to work.

I never even bother watching Rick and Morty.

Changing the value of a galactic currency from one to zero to destroy the government that runs on it is funny, but anyone could set the value back to one at any given moment.

Also, that's not even how money works. The value of money is ultimately determined by its average exchange rate against all other commodities. You can't just permanently set it to an arbitrary value.
