Pandemic: Hope · 9:41pm Aug 10th, 2018
I have to put Pandemic: Hope on hiatus to focus on a pressing matter.
After I made my stats blog last week, I received some bad news from a friend whom I was working on a one-shot for. I haven't quite received confirmation of this, and I won't go into details here, so I shall summarize things: his health isn't looking good. I figured once I'd heard it, I would just tack on the writing project to this month as well and make my goal an even 50k words this month.
Well, as much I'd have liked to work on all four of the writing projects, it has turned out to be slightly too much for me at once. And seeing as how I have to work on the one-shot for him while he'd still be able to enjoy it, I have to make some adjustments to my writing schedule this month. I already had sort of a writer's block on this story, and with this thought now looming over my head, it's just making it harder for me to keep up with things.
I apologize for having to put this on hiatus, but I should be finished with the one-shot by the beginning of next month, and I'll most likely almost be done with A Series of Chaotic Events as well, so that's just less work for me all around. That means I will be more focused on this story then and have a fresh mindset to get some (hopefully good) chapters out to you all. Thank you for your understanding.
My gosh, that's got to be horrible, hearing about your friend like that. I don't know who he/she/it is, but I hope he does well.
Don't apologize. That takes priority. *Hugs*

Thank you, you don't know how much that means to me. This was sorely needed.
