    April, with many a day…

So I just spent from the third through today (sort of, still have some driving to do) on holiday. Went to Dallas to see the Eclipse in totality, swung though Hot Springs for… well, the hot springs, and finally St Louis for a lovely riverboat dinner before bidding the Boyfriend farewell and starting the trip home.

    Well, I started it...

All Good Things... has commenced. I may have a chapter of it up tonight.

I really want to start closing out the unfinished stories, but sometimes you just can't get back into the flow for them. Sorceress and the Siren is one, Into the Wilds is another. Which is sad cause I love writing Azure.

    Homecoming, in retrospect.

Homecoming as a series is a glorious mess. I’ve gone on short bits of fluff, created some … unique ships, twisted the fabric of canon EqG, and even touched on some dark topics.

    Don't you just hate it...

When you can't find something when you need to?

Case in point, I went looking for a comment where they alluded to It being like Frodo saving the Shire for everyone but himself and had to sail to another land to find solace.

But I can't remember what fic or anything else.

    And it's frustrating to me.

    Meanwhile, in other news...

    For those wondering....

    I am working on Truth.

“What are you doing here?” Sunset stammered as she gazed at her father. Emotions swirled inside of her, a maelstrom of feelings. Confusion, certainly. Some anger, long-simmered and cooled into bitterness. A bit of joy, but just a tiny bit.

    Mostly confusion though.

Red rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s a long story,” he hedged.

August update...thing. · 8:21pm Aug 7th, 2018

So August! The time when all of us melt from the unforgiving heat and humidity of my locale. My face will never recover.

In serious news, I am placing Remedial Studies and Bardic Lore: Into the Wild on temporary hiatus to focus on my entry for The Sunset Shipping Contest. I’ve learned a lot since last year and I hope tonat least have a strong show this year.

I also have updated my Twitter to focus a bit more on my writing. You’ll still find the occaisional silly thing and cat photos, but trust me, I’ll try to keep it professional and SFW.

Current projects:

As mentioned above I am working on a piece to enter into The Sunset Shipping Contest, and for a brief bit of info, all I’ll say is SunShyne and moonlight. Yes, it is my E616 SunShyne. I am aiming at 4K, but things will have to go where they lie. Could be more, could be less.

Remedial Studies is firmly Into it’s second act and mostly at the halfway point. I figure I’ll start to wind it down in another nine chapters or so. No hard promises.

Bardic Lore: Into the Wild is settled at the end of the first act and when we get back to it we’ll find Azure in a very interesting new situation as she spends time with Zeke. There may even be some adventure.

Keeping me Warm (bonus) - well, I’ve been working on this off and on and have had a few people alpha read it. It may become a reality after the contest and, well, it’s a pretty touching bit so far. And more than a little saucy. Soon...

And I’ve drafted the first two chapters for a story involving Sunny and Twi renewing their wedding vows. I have a few guest stars, who I’ll mention when it gets closer, and a few very nice outfits made by Rarity. Hopefully this comes together well and is as touching as I hope it to be.

Let’s see....what else is new that I’m forgetting...hmm...

I think that’s all the writing stuff that is done.

So, instead, a few questions:

If I were to head to a convention, which one should I prioritize? Keep in mind travel costs.

If I made it tonsaid convention, what do I do? :twilightoops:

I’ve been toying with restarting my Patreon, but I’m unsure as to what I should offer as rewards/incentives for patrons. I’m bad at this sometimes. And should it focus on writing or readings (look for a new one later this month, btw) or a combination of the two?

I plan to have a Discord based game night soon. I’m going to keep it limited so please keep your eyes on your feed for more info on that.

Now if you’ll excuse me, time to get to work.
