Bi-Monthly Update (August 2018)! · 4:43pm Aug 2nd, 2018

Hiya Everypony! Hope that you've been having a good summer, and haven't had too much trouble staying cool; its scorching in a lot of places, including down here in Cowboy-Central.

I spent some time out of state on vacation, and didn't do much writing then; but I've been back for almost a week now, and am getting back into the groove on a few drafts. I have the next part of Stallions on the DL drafted, but it's in the revision phase, and though I wanted to post it in July, I didn't have time to finish looking it over before I left. I'll do those revisions, and upload it in about a weekish, so look out for that later on this month! That'll probably be the last part added to that series for a bit, as I have other projects to focus on, but I have at least 2 other chapters planned for that compilation.

As for what I'm working on now, I've got four drafts I'm poking at, but I wanna finish two of them before tacking the big project a lot of folks have been asking about; An Equal Burden's third chapter. I've fallen dreadfully behind on updating that, and am quite sorry for those who've been waiting; I haven't forgotten! The two drafts I'm focusing on are a short transformation-oriented story playing out as something of a fairy tale, and the first part a lesbian shipfic whose idea came to me from a single screenshot from the show. Once those are drafted, An Equal Burden's third part will be my priority; that's already outlined in my notes, so the hard part of penning it still remains.

I start my last semester of university later this month, which will either have a positive or negative effect on my output; positive because I'll spend so much time in a residence hall and'll have plenty of time to think and write, but negative in that I'll also have work/essays to pen as well. I do some of my personal best work in that setting though, so hopefully it'll be a productive last stayover in academia!

Here's hoping that the temperatures cool down soon! :raritydespair:
