Summer Update · 9:22pm Jul 31st, 2018
It's hard to believe that July is just about over and tomorrow it will be August. I'm still trying to figure out where the time went. Nevertheless, I want to give you all an update. Chapter 5 of "The Sparkle In His Soul" is editing and nearing completion. I've also made some major progress on chapter 6. In fact, due to the critical nature of the next few chapters, I may draft them before posting any more chapters. I do apologize if this comes as a blow, but I want to make sure this story flows smoothly and that everything jives in these critical chapters. I'll keep you all updated as to my progress.
And I have to say July was crazy busy with over time, until I went on vacation July 21st. Though sadly it was a working at home vacation. There was still so much organizing and tasks to complete. I had three sets of shelves to put together, that went pretty smoothly. I organized three rooms upstairs, my bedroom, my office and the middle bedroom which is used for storage. I helped my mom rearrange the living room, it's so much more functional this way and everything seems to flow better. This past Sunday my best friend came over and helped me put together a small shed, now I have somewhere to store the lawn mower and other things that are best kept outside. I also mulched the flower beds, spreading six bags of mulch, oh and not before battling a mess of weeds. But the place is looking better and going forward with a better organized workspace, I'll be able to have a easier go of things with writing.
Sadly, due to the chores around home and an uncertain budget, I didn't get to attend BronyCon this year. But I know there are plenty of you that have never even had a chance to attend a Brony convention, so I'm not complaining. I do have a blog on BronyCon I'm going to be posting a little later on. There's some major news involving next year's and I'm sure some of you may already be aware of it as well.
Well, for now, I'm going to enjoy this last day of my vacation, before returning to work tomorrow night. I'm updating quite a few things that I've wanted to add to my user page here on FIMfiction and I want to continue with work on chapter 6. As far as my other stories, I'm still not 100% sure when I'll get back to those, I will keep you posted. Hopefully, I'll have a chance in the coming days to at least sit down and look over things again. I know quite a few of you have been asking and requesting that I continue "You Brighten My Day", so stay tuned for future details about this story, which will be continuing, I just need to work it into my flow with "The Sparkle In Her Soul".

Huh, it's odd to reach a critical point in a story quite that soon. I know that pacing has kind of been a pain on this one but don't rush things. That never ends well.
