Slight Chapter Delay · 3:06am Jul 27th, 2018
As you probably know, I write So, You Wanna be a Princess at the behest of Canary in the Coalmine. Each chapter is reviewed by him before it is posted so he can make sure it meets his expectations for the story as he requested it to be. Since Canary will be attending a convention this week, and had an extremely busy day today he was unable to see the chapter before he has to leave. Therefore, there will not be a chapter posted this week.
When writing stories for someone else, I prefer they see the chapter and give it the okay before I post it. That way there wont be any retcons if they have a hard "NO!" on something. Nopony likes a retcon. You'll likely get two chapters next week :3
I will have my revenge! I mean-how unfortunate, I shall find something to tide me over in the meantime.
4908433 If you also enjoy scifi, in particular planet hopping adventures, I've got another story I'm writing concurrently which you could check out.
- MLP: FiM
- MLP: Comic
- Adventure
- Sci-Fi
When Dash's friends are abducted by aliens, she vows to go to the ends of the universe to get them back. Lucky for her, a new friend got her a ride...4908476

nice one there! speech skill +1
I'm going to guess your methods! You start off with main events in the chapter, see if he is alright with any of those, then type the actual story, and have him check the chapter that needs lots of reading. It makes sense (to me) in the way that if the main points are disliked, you save about ten-thirty paragraphs.
4922642 No. Before my fingers hit keyboad we spend 3-4 days talking about the story, themes, ideas, and specific scenes to include. a rough story-arc long notes section was created, slightly refined, and then I started to write. Now, I write the entire chapter as it is read by you guys, he reads it, and in the few instances where he has had a complaint or commentary, I redo that particular segment and blend it into the rest of the chapter with any required edits.
