Yeah... sorry about that
If you want the TLDR: Back in the UK after one hell of headache, and I've been far too busy to post. That's a horrifically simple story here, but that's the essence of it: the moral continues with DO NOT LOSE YOUR PASSPORT. Do not subject yourself to the headache that is recovering such an important document, especially when you're giving a specialist training course during the period. The good news is that I made it home safe, and am now waiting on my new passport to get here so I can continue work back in China. Oh yeah, they took me on for another year. Noice.
I will say, however, the dudes at the embassy were absolute legends in getting my shit sorted. That's what you need in an emergency - a calming presence telling you what you need to do, how you need to do it, and taking you through it all step by step. Top stuff.
Beyond this major noise, I've very little to report. If you haven't guessed already, the latest chapter of Waking the Dead is kicking off a new arc which is pretty baller. I hope you enjoy it all, as it took me far too long to write. On that note, however, I will be going on a "holiday" for a while after the arc is over. Maybe a month or two to catch up on some planning and writing, and maybe to take a crack at a few ideas that have been bouncing around in this noggin of mine.
I am also changing the relase dates from every four weeks to the first Friday of each month. Gives you something to look foward to each week~
Please keep reading and commenting on Waking the Dead, I'm always looking to improve and that can't be done without your help. Thank you all though, we've just passed 1000 total views which is a huge achievement in my eyes. It's truly humbling that so many people have read Waking the Dead, even just clicking that first chapter to see what it's about is a win to me. If you get to the second chapter, it just gets better from there on.
