How To Google Docs · 6:50pm Jul 25th, 2018
Because it comes up a lot in the writing-help rooms on Discord, here's how to easily share your writing to get feedback without having to muck about with user-specific permissions.
1. Create a Google Doc that has the writing you want critiqued in it.
2. At the top right of the document's edit screen, click the Share button:
3. Click Advanced:
4. In the "Who has access" section, click Change:
5. Click the "On - Anyone with the link" sharing option, then change the Access dropdown to "Can comment":
6. Click Save, then Done.
You can now copy and paste the link from your address bar to whoever you'd like to read and comment on your writing.

I just shared the folder I keep my horse words in. Even easier and far lazier!

This is why I keep one doc and just replace the contents with each new story draft. No need to keep resetting the permissions!
