So! Back. Not dead. Big surprise. Life's been kinda hectic for awhile now for a variety of reasons I won't go too much into, but I've had a nice long break and am feeling ready to get back to a semi-regular writing schedule! However, I have still been doing art for the past,,, six months, has it really been that long? Jeez. So, here's a big ol' pile of stuff that I haven't shared here, by month.

Nothing like a hard day’s work to get up an appetite.
tbh, this might be one of the best things I’ve ever drawn in terms of anatomy and shading.

Something that I may find a way to put in one of my stories eventually · 3:17pm Jul 23rd, 2018

As you may have noticed, the chapters I said would be out this weekend have not materialized. Sorry. I was on vacation, and I really didn't have time to work on writing. However, I did get this one chunk out that I don't think will quite fit in any of my projects right now. So, have this instead.

“I do worry sometimes, Luna,” Celestia said gently, brushing a lock of cosmic-swirled mane away from her sister’s eye. “You watch over dreams all night long, but there is nopony to watch over yours.”
“I am the Lady of the Night, Sister,” Luna returned, her tone even. “I watch my own dreams.”
“That is my point, rather. Qui custodiet ipsos custodes? Who guards the guardians?”
“One another, apparently,” Luna snapped. “You aren’t taking this seriously, Celestia! They would have killed you!”
Celestia smiled. It was a very, very bright smile, like looking into the sun. Her tongue flicked out between her teeth, long and oddly shaped. “Would they?”
“Inconveniently discorporated you, then,” Luna conceded. “The end result, I think, would have been much the same so far as the state of the country went. So far as I went, or Twilight Sparkle went, or anypony in the palace went. Celestia might have come back, sister, but you would not.”
The elder princess’s smile dimmed, the ethereal light fading until teeth could again be seen. “Oh, Luna,” she said, pulling her sister closer to her side. “I will always come back, as you have always come back, as Cadence and Discord and all the rest have always come back. As Twilight will no doubt come back, one day.”
“But we are not the same!” Luna protested. “I can remember life before the Nightmare, you know. I am not the mare I once was.”
Celestia smiled benignly at her sister. “Who among us is?” she mused, glancing down at Ponyville. “All things must change and grow, Luna. Ponies most of all. Of everything I have seen and done, it is that simple truth that will always astound me.”

Anyway, I'll continue to work on the last chapter of It's a Kind of Magic. That really should be out sometime before Wednesday. Call of Cthulestia may take a little longer, but it is getting there, I promise.
