So I've been abroad in Japan, not that I like to publicize it too much, but... well, this kinda needs to be done.
Equestria's Changeling Queen and the Abyssal Empress prominently features Equestria's chief battleship, the Llamrei class, which I basically based on --

ALRIGHT! I ripped it off of the Japanese pre-dreadnought Mikasa. Which I've only ever read about... UNTIL NOW!!!
As a military history Masters of History... I geeked out. Like I really geeked out. It was soooo AMAZING!!! Enjoy the photos everybody!

It does look pretty small, much smaller than another museum ship I was on, the HMS Belfast. But in person... it's actually rather big. I spent a good 2.5-3 hours looking around at it and in it + listening/watching the stuff they had on exhibition.
She is a beauty Vren, I'm always going to be partial to my beloved Texas but even I acknowledge Mikasa is something special. Honestly she one of the few reasons I would jump on a plane to visit Japan right now
That is a beautiful Ship, its a real shame that she is the last of her kind
Have you ever been aboard the North Carolina ? You should make a trip to come visit her in ILM.
Japan is the best. Though I am biased since my trip there in June was phenomenal :p
Wait you were in Japan? You never mentioned that.
