Holy shit this game is fun!
I found the Purrloin! I had to look in up in the Pokédex cause the encounter rate was so low, but I knew it had to be close by since three different trainers around the area had one. I named it AMETHYST, after my real cat. Plus it's purple. It knows a move called Assist which is a really fun move.
Then I beat the first gymleader. I wiped twice, since the Pansear was really strong (it was lv 14 and my three pokes were lv 11). But the second wipe was because it Incidirated the Oran berry I had on AMETHYST. If not, I'd probably won.
Have I mentioned I have battle style set to set? I've always played on shift so I figured to try it set. Hasn't been much of an issue yet.
Met the new villain team, Plasma, who're a bunch of dicks. I kinda sympathise with their goal, but you lose me when you kick defenceless pokemon and steal from little girls. Still, I'm glad these grunts are more assertive and... let's just say not as goofy as the previous two teams'. If this had been team Galactic, you know they wouldn't have succeeded in stealing from the girl...
Anyways. Look forward to kicking their asses!
Got a new certified team member (atleast for now) in the form of Munna. The pink elefant, dream embryo thingy that the Plasma grunts beat up. I named it CAROL in loving tribute of Picknicker Carol from Kanto route 10 who finally realised her dream of seeing a "pink pokemon with a floral pattern". May you encounter many Munna and Musharna in your dreams, Carol...
My team as of now are:
NAHASH the Snivy, AMETHYST the Purrloin, CAROL the Munna, Lillipup, Woobat and Timburr. And it looks like I'll find Venipede in the next forest. Can't wait!
