Today is Andrea Libman's birthday, she is of course the talented woman who voices both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, and sings for Fluttershy. Interestingly, in two Season 2 episodes Andrea was not available to record so Shanon Chan-Kent stood in for her (Fluttershy speaks no lines in either episode and her crying in "Ponyville Confidential" is a recycled stock sound effect). Interestingly, Fluttershy's famous "Yay" is Pinkie's gasp from the first episode but rewinded.
Andrea has voiced other characters as well, including Bon-Bon a.k.a Special Agent Sweetie Drops.
Happy birthday, Andrea. And perhaps as a bit of a belated birthday present, the second half of Season 8 will kick off in two days with "Yakity Sax" a Pinkie Pie episode (albeit one I don't anticipate being very good).
Seriously, how are these people's birthdays coming out of the blue? You can tell I don't do my research like you do XD
