Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle · 1:56pm Jul 18th, 2018
A long-awaited sequel to "Planet of Monsters," this continues the long battle for the exiled mankind to take back their homeworld from Godzilla Prime, who is revealed to have grown tremendously in the past 20,000 years. This time, they have a may have a fighting chance in the form of Mechagodzilla, itself also growing in that time and has become a city.
And man does it have a confusing plot; they go all over the place with exposition. What we thought the Shobijin's kind were human descendants, they say that they might be like Space-Nebula M aliens: insects in apes clothing. Then the united people, Human, Kilaak, and Simian alike start bantering with each other when they really should be united against Godzilla. And once more, it's a bitter end with dire losses and anime cliches I recognize.
I'm still seeing this through with the upcoming finale. One involving a great terror
Monster Zero.
This coming to Netflix in America anytime soon?
