Hey guys, I know what you're thinking... "three chapters in and he's already falling behind? Uh oh! BURN THE WITCH!" but I do have a valid reason. My mother has been in the hospital, and now she's receiving dialysis and since I'm her caregiver, this puts me square in the middle of everything, and my plate has been beyond overloaded, so I haven't had the time to devote to the current chapter I'm working on.
So I do apologize in advance for the delay. Hopefully it will only be for the next few chapters before things settle in to routine and I can focus more on getting the story out to all of you.

Much sympathy from a dude who's also been struggling recently with parental medical problems. My elderly father's got a long-term catheter and there was some internal injury last week during what should have been a routine insertion. It's not a fun place to bleed from.
Urinary system problems are the worst. :(
4903314 - Thank you, horizon. It has been frustrating trying to adjust to her new diet, new medicine schedule, the dialysis treatments, and it all feels overwhelming. She is doing well, though, and I'm hoping the dialysis ends up being temporary. All of my best wishes for you and your father, I hope he recovers quickly and completely. *hugs*
