Change of Plans: Story Rewrite · 1:57am Jul 16th, 2018
So, it's clear I bit off more than I could chew with my most recent story (Non-Compete Clause: Cruel Aftermath); too many different ideas were woven together and I missed that the darkness was just far too much as a premise.
I could try rewriting it progressively, but at this point, it's already gotten very poor exposure and it would probably become a mess. Therefore, I'm going to have to can it and start over. The original story will still be there for posterity, marked canceled.
The new story will have a different title as well, to minimize confusion.
This is a pretty big derailment of my plans, as it pushes things back quite a bit, but sometimes things just don't go according to plan. ETA on the rewrite is about 4 days, as I need to start over with a new outline and everything.
Stalled a bit (was nearly done with the outline, but then just didn't get around to finishing it up), but I will return to working on it this weekend for sure.
