    Damn peer pressure

Almost all reviews/comments for my Mass Effect/40k story have one thing in common. They wanted the Inquisitor to live.

Now, that was the original plan, but as I plotted out the story, I came across two problems. One; too many characters, and two; Character redundancy. The first problem is easy enough to explain. Mass Effect already has a ton of characters, and I'm just adding more.

    State of the Author.

Hello everybody. Got a few things to say here, so bear with me. If that sounds ominous, let me reassure everyone that I am not leaving Fimfiction anytime soon.

Just saw the Detective Pikachu trailer...

And I can't tell what Jigglypuff would do if you fell asleep; scribble on or stab you.

So, what have I been up to? · 5:23pm Jul 11th, 2018

No, I am not dead yet. Progress on my fics here have been slow, but I am still working on them.

But that's not why I'm here. No, I'm here to inform you all that I've gotten stuck in another, non-pony project. I'm going back to my crossover roots here, It's a 40k-Mass Effect crossover, a spiritual successor to The Mission Stays the Same, which was tragically discontinued. I'm hoping to make it my own instead of simply retreading old ground with new characters; which includes:

*A radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor turned Rogue Trader.
*A Space Marine from a dying chapter, pledged to the Inquisitor's service for reasons unknown
*A Tech-Priest who isn't so gung-ho about replacing flesh with augmetics. He's the group's medic
*A Sister of Battle with a somewhat bubbly and irreverent personality. She's the new recruit.

Awesome to hear you're still around.

I knew you weren't dead

Thank you for letting us know you are working on the story. I can't wait to read it!

Communication is always welcome.

its good to see you're still writing.

I clicked on the link on this block to the story you did and I'm going to be tracking this. I do not know much about the 40k other then some of the races in the universe but I am a huge fan of Mass Effect and Love what you have down and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Damn, was hoping to see something regarding your older works

Although I'd personally like more Going Native, I'm curious on how would a 40k/Mass Effect crossover go. Colour me intrigued.

Will you publish a blog post with the link when it comes out? :rainbowhuh:
And can we has updates to Going Native soon? :pinkiehappy:

Yes to the first, no to the second. Like I said, progress is slow
