The log crackles into life, the sound of interference fills the silence as a human voice speaks up
"If you're listening to this, then I'm already gone." a male's voice states, seeming slightly upset. "I have seen what Equestria has to offer and while my exploits here were great, all good things must come to an end."
the sound of rushed packing occur for several seconds
"I have grown weary of this world, I must say. There are new and more exciting places that I can check out."
a suitcase snaps shut before a strange sound occurs
"That was the portal to Gameindustri opening. It's a one way portal. Once I go, I might not be able to come back."
a sigh echoes from the walls as the portal flickers audibly
"The way things are, I might not want to. I didn't want to completely abandon my (small) following here without notice, so this log should suffice. Truth is, I've been unmotivated to write anyway. Nothing seems to click anymore. It's a shame to ditch my work, but it must be done."
the log falls silent for a few minutes
"I should be able to maintain contact via comments, so you may still see me around, but without access to my writing implements, I feel that I may be forced to retire. It's not been too bad, with 11 stories that are decently successful. But I feel it's time to move on. I'm not getting any younger."
a deep breath can be heard
"That's all, I think. Jā matane, and good luck. Stop recording."
the log cuts out
To put it in a less dumb way, I'm retiring. This may be temporary, this may be permanent. I've lost the passion that once drove me to write. Simple as. I already stated that I was an infrequent writer, but this is a silly amount of silence, even by my standards.
That and I'm starting to back away from the community as a whole. As you may have noticed, Hyperdimension Neptunia has captured my heart. It's fresh, new, exciting. Meanwhile I've been in this fandom 3 years and have only seen it decline. Hell, the show itself has been disappointing, never mind the fanbase.
So yeah, that's pretty much it.

Like any fanbase out there, you will meet both good and bad sides, there is no such thing as a pure fanbase, even the smallest or the newest fanbase you might find some toxicity.
