Alright so official date for being active again

So for the past month I’ve been dealing with really bad depressive episodes (dysthymia) due to being sick for so long. It’s affected everything in my life, and as if that were not enough my cat jumped on my iPad and my screen crack is now bad enough to warrant repair. Which I can’t do till June.

    Alright, doing better.

It’s been an insane few weeks, been recovering well.
Still very weak, but by June or so I should be back to ok levels of health.

I’m still working on stuff on the side for fimfiction.
I’ll publish it in June. Recovery is slow but steady.

At least I don’t look dead now.

    So...sickly new year..and sick leave

Ok so easiest way to explain why I’ve been silent.
Why I didn’t finish my planned works.
    All of that?

Apparently after everything I went through last year, here I am in February in a similar though less immediately perilous situation to the one I was in in 2018 and 2017. Though I got a valentine.
It was from my mom..but hey I’ll take it since I’m kind of depressed over this, naturally.

Silence of the Glen is broken

So I didn’t do anything in October. Now it’s november.
I still intend to update my sci-fi story, and put the next chapter of the hospital horror prologue up over the next week.

My reasons for not finishing anything were important though.

    Best news, health update.

So my blood tests came back.
And my thyroid levels, without supplements, are literally perfect.
So part of the reason I’ve been so sick is because I’ve been taking my usual thyroid supplement, without knowing I didn’t need it anymore, and overdosing thus inducing a hyper thyroid state, making myself very sick on accident.

News, July, News, More News! · 9:02pm Jul 2nd, 2018

Alright so stuff happened again.
Good news, my leg is mostly healed, and my nose will be checked later this month. Which is good because it’s getting weirder and I’m really tired of not being able to smell.
Everything I wanted to do last month in the last update is now this month.
Other than that, on to the most important news of the day, the art thread.

I’m in the middle of moving my materials, all of my many art materials, into a workroom. From now on I’ll be working out of that room for the most part. Also I’m installing a lock on the door, and making a soundproof thing for the door and wall since said workroom is the den and my old bedroom/living space prior to moving into my actual old bedroom. Now I hope to finish this move up this evening or tomorrow afternoon, after which I’ll be doing a bit of scheduling compromise.

This is due to my car still not being repaired. I’m building at least two if not three cosplays, the Graboid is not happening sadly since it would take three weeks to craft to quality. Due to lacking my car I was unable to get supplies to complete the builds, and won’t have a car till the tenth of July. I can complete the builds, but it will be a crunch time thing,

Which leads to the scheduling compromise. I’m going to spend my first full day in my workroom making schematics for the builds and planning exactly where to go for materials. That will be July 3rd or 4th. July 5th I’m going to return to the three works leading the art thread queue. I hope to get those done by July 9th, or at least two of them. On July 10th I’m getting a vehicle, a rental, getting supplies and I’ll be focusing on the builds for the next ten days or so. July 19th I’ll be heading to a convention, July 23rd I’ll be back and rested.

July 23rd or 24th I’ll be back to the art queue, aiming for two works a week if possible.

Now, that’s the rough schedule for the art thread.
And by rough I mean I’ve been thinking this over for the past week, and trying to figure out a way to balance everything out.

Now for the next bit of news.
Stories won’t be affected, I’m still sticking to my schedule.

Tears is almost done, it’s just the family stuff kept triggering my PTSD. Which makes me shut down, or have flashbacks, both happened this time. More or less the two, almost three, weeks alone with my father triggered a severe PTSD reaction I only realized was a thing because my folks left three days ago and it’s finally starting to recede as of today. When I’m in that state I can’t write properly, the recent episode was full of flashback fun too so every time I tried to write a story I’d just start describing an incident from the past instead. It’s not fun since as an immersive writer that means I got to re experience said events. Obviously this meant I couldn’t write any planned stories, not without derailing them in some way that was not ok.

But I’m doing better now, so all stories should get updates this week at some point. So on to the next update news thingy.

Besides the fact that I made a Nord male warrior mage, named him Biggus Dickus, and have proceeded to massacre half of Skyrim in the buff solely to get a hired thug contract with that name on it. I’m collecting them. He only wears an imperial officers helmet and....
Ok let me put it this way, I made a bright pink argonian and named her The-Killer-Rabbit, I was bored then and bored when I made Biggus. My PTSD was messing up my ability to write and draw, and some liquor may have been involved. That’s not part of the update but it’s something different isn’t it?

Actual update news thing.
I’m taking photos from the convention, and sharing them in the Insane Creators Guild. Some may be of my System Lord Anubis build. So you will all get to see how tiny I am in comparison to normal people. The worst part is I’m only tiny due to medical stuff, if said stuff hadn’t happened spine measurements of my messed up yet oddly flexible and functional spine more or less indicate I’d be 5’9. Curse you medical conditions for making me a wee person. Also, I rock at hide and seek. Anyway, so I’m sharing convention stuff after I get back. So that’s a news thing.

More news, July is apparently news month.

My birthday is on the 18th of this month.
It’s a great day, very colorful, actually the day is borderline cursed and it’s the date of some very horrible things. The years leading up to my birth were legit coated in blood and massacres, the day I was born was on the one year where nothing truly horrible happened.
I’m lying. My maternal grandfather died six months before I was born, an uncle three months, and a cousin six weeks. To the day of my birth. My family used to joke I was the anti christ. There may have been a few natural disasters too. I know the heat wave that day killed a bunch of people in the city I was born in. The day is cursed I tell you!
But hey, at least it’s always eventful. I just wish something nice would hapoen on that day, like I don’t know, rediscovery of a species or something.
Also, someone needs to discreetly change the publishing date of a certain evil dictators book from the 1930’s to the 17th of July, I’m really sick of hearing about it every year on my birthday in those on this day in history things. Rome burning I’m fine with, that book? Not so much.
Seriously, someone discover a unicorn on my birthday so it can balance out all the horrible events! Also, who wouldn’t want to share a birthdate with the day of the discovery of unicorns? Or dragons, dragons work too.

Also I am not averse to fanart, and I owe someone else a birthday gift that I’m planning to publish on my birthday. You know who you are. :pinkiehappy:
And you can’t convince me otherwise, because it’s my birthday and I’ll make you art if I want to.

More newsy news news!
Cover art, for my stories and others.
Right now I’m missing cover art for A Timber Tale, and I owe a few people cover art and one person a story. I’m focusing on two cover art pieces right now, mine and SaberKing’s. Due to A Timber Tale needing updating...badly.. I’m going to get that done first then finish SaberKing’s cover art. The reason for that being that A Timber Tale will get its first update in almost two years this week. Poor Timber and Twilight have been stuck in that pose longer than Pinkie has been standing over that barrel of ancient putrid apples.

And, news news news.
Thanks to a friend I’m thinking of starting a fancomic about an alternate Skyrim verse I dreamed up, won’t happen for awhile though. The other comics and graphic novels are going to be in the works as well. Which leads to the point of this news bit.

Would anyone be interested in watching an art stream? Since I’ll be doing tons of art in the coming months, including art related to multiple books in the works I have been thinking of starting an art stream. I mostly work on my tablet so I’ll need to look into how to pull it off, as well as find the right streaming platform. Twitch is mostly for Gaming, I’m not sure if they allow art streams. Any suggestions for platforms would be great. Now most of the works in the stream won’t be MLP based, unless someone requests I do a stream when I work on thier art. However considering the recovery time disappearance incident I think that having another platform to contact and keep in touch would be a good idea. Anyway it’s just an idea.

Now the next bit of news of news month of news.
The most important bit actually. I’m going to be asking a friend about where I can sell some fanworks and original artworks. Which means I’ll have an art store, well another one for fanart. What’s important though isn’t just the art store, see I’m about to test out a painting method that I might use for a larger traditional version of a fanart piece I’m making about Luna and Nightmare Moon. If it works, I’ll be selling bambo frame bordered silk medium paintings and will take custom orders. As in, I’m going to open an actual commissions setup in the near future. The practice works will be sold elsewhere.

To those in my art practice thread, and to those not in it yet, this is an important announcement because all of you still get your free art.

However, to all those already in the queue I’m adding something important to say thank you. Not just for your patience and understanding, but for letting me regain my skills by crafting your concepts and characters. As well as your support.

I’m going to send all of you an artwork in thanks. Specifically, I’m sending you a code that will give you acces to a dual signed (my Fimfiction and non Fimfiction signature) copy of the Dance of the Moons (nightmare moon and Luna) illustration free. No shipping. No handling. Absolutely free. Oh and it’s not going to be digital, it’s canvas printed. It will be awhile yet since my workroom is in progress, but hopefully by September everything will be ready. I’ll send the code to all of you via PM. It’s my way of thanking you.

Now, any more news?
Oh yes, one more bit of news.
The week of my birthday, even with the builds, will also be a week of monsters.
It will be a mix of art and stories, but I figured it will be a nice way to clear my head while waiting for paint to dry. Plus it’s a fun way to celebrate.

Final news?
I’m working with another author outside the fandom on a book. We are co-writing it, it won’t be out for half a year though at least. Other than that, this month I’m publishing Digistasis Equine on Fimfiction. It’s a story I meant to publish last year, but sickness happened. Why is it important? Because like Tears, it’s a derivative story of an original work. In fact, if you read it you’ll get an idea of what the actual anthology will be like. Why is this important?
Because if all goes well, I’ll be publishing said Anthology in September or October. Shortly after I move out in fact. The outlines are done, and with my PTSD calming down I can focus on it. Also I found the harddrive the first story is on so life is good. It’s self publishing, since the only contacts I have in the publishing world are dead, think I’m dead, or are only for children’s books. In case you are curious, those contacts were from back when I could have been one of the youngest published authors ever; but stuff happened. However as promised last fall, all of you get a sneak peek at the series in pony form.

Speaking of which, I’m going to add a new section in the stories tab. It’s goint to be titled “Original Story Derivatives”, and will help sort all of my stories you can read to preview works that will be published. Now, this brings up what I’m planning for this fall.

Well, what I’m aiming for is three anthology series and/or short story collections.
One of my goals in life is to outdo Steven King, including his backlog. And get him to notice me and give me feedback. :raritystarry:
Yes...it’s a notice me senpei thing. Concerning the master of horror. It’s a lifelong dream.

Finally, the last bit of news in this insane info dump.
I have a painting series, well spray paint art actually, in the works called Dying Sattelites.
I’m going to list it in the insane creators guild soon, under the art sharing thread. It’s not MLP related, but since it’s the closest to finished work series I have it’s all I’ve got. Why am I mentioning this? Because I need help escaping this house. So I’ll be listing stuff in that art sub thread in the coming weeks. My father is likely going to lie about how much car repairs cost and take one hundred dollars extra for himself, so I’m preparing for that ahead of time.

Now if you will excuse me, I have heavy things to haul down narrow stairs so my art workroom can be completed. And please give me feedback on the art streaming thing. I’ll likely do game streaming as well eventually, but I really want to know if anyone likes the idea.

Alright, info dump over.

True Nords Never Wear Clothes! Only Helmets!
Biggus Dickus ‘s personal creed.
Besides, magic works better when you wear nothing at all.

That’s final. Well it might be a little before my B-Day since I’m heading to an event, but same difference.
