An important message for a dark subject, give a read

Pen Dragon has made an passionate and important petition, one I think is best served by their own words. So please, for the sake of a benign website that has brought such entertainment and joy to many, give this a look.

    Important message about Suicide

WARNING: Discussions, however brief for the sake of tact, about self-harm and suicidal thoughts are in this post. People especially vulnerable to such should ensure they are in a good headspace before reading. This sort of trigger is no joke.

    Chapter 56 Promo!

In an isolated, abnormally large, hollowed-out tree might not be the typical abode for megalomaniacal n'ere-do-wells. Though, there was a reason both of them had opted for current accommodations over the typical kingdoms and castles, in one form or another. The area was absolutely inundated with dark magic. From the eerie glow that some of the plants gave off, to traces of black aerenth crystals

Ooh, this looks interesting!

What are the parameters? As pack hunters around the size of a large chicken, Velociraptors might be able to take down a baby, but a full grown Tri? Not sure about that one. Not the least of which is the question of if a Velociraptor claws and teeth, being from a much smaller creature, could in
fact even penetrate a full grown Tri's skin enough to do any damage. Unless, of course those are Troodons then the size goes up to, if I have my scale correctly, to the size of a say, a medium sized dog, like a husky or a malamute at the biggest. Those bastards would be pretty assured of victory, since they could both single out the Tri and attack the herbivore from the sides. And if they're Deinonychuses then we're looking at a really good time. Those are pack hunters the size of Irish Wolfhounds working in concert. Which would be awwwwwesome. Dromaeosaurs for the win!!!!! Looking forward to seeing the result!

Looking forward to seeing this.

You assume it's Velociraptor and Triceratops.

Who would win? A group made of some of the most intelligent, most vicious dinosaurs in the land that can actually glide..... one three horned heavy boi.

So apparently we're getting a fight between a Dromeosaurid and a Ceratopsid? Considering that DakotaRaptor existed in the same ecosystem as Rex and Trike, a fight like this wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

No, I draw a logical conclusion based off the clues provided and my own, admitittely inferior knowledge. Whether or not I’m wrong has no influence on the fact that it is not an assumption, WINK. I completely look forward to whatever you have planned. Because even with me being wrong, still does not change that Pack Hunters vs Big Herbivore = AWWWWWESOME!

Dinosaur death match?
YEAH BABY

Let's see..... the first picture shows a group of Dromaeosauroid Dinosaurs; no clear size references, so they can be almost any of them. However, the eyes look a fair bit too small for Troodon, and the prey looks to be fairly large. First guess, which I'm not putting money on, would be a larger species like Utahraptor.

The second image is in a museum, and is centered on a Ceratopsian skull. Said skull has two large horns over the eyes, a very small nasal horn, a solid crest, and notable spikes along said crest. Aside from the spikes on the crest, this would describe a Triceratops. However, the spikes make this a mismatch, and I cannot name another dinosaur with that combination of horns and a solid crest.

The third image is clearly a modern day image; the building is a solid clue. Ergo, one or more of the Dinos in the Deathmatch are likely to end up being from a fictional source; perhaps a genetically modified hybrid from the JP franchise....

That's my take on this. We'll have to wait and see what the truth will be.

Maybe it’s a velociraptor mongoliensis and the dinosaur they hunted is an overraptor because of the beak. And the jp triceratops is just the jp triceratops there own creation.

Just saying ok.

Bingoooo! Your deductive skills are to be commended.

So in short, we've got Indoraptor, Utahraptor or Deinonychus, and Triceratops, correct?

I found the skull; it's from a hybrid known as Stegoceratops. So, that would be my guess for one combatant. For the other.... Indoraptor looks almost nothing like the first picture, but neither does anything else in the franchise. So, maybe that, maybe some other hybrid, possibly the JP "Velociraptors", or (if the image is accurate) a Natural Utahraptor or similar animal....
