I'm afraid I come bearing some bad-ish news. It looks like I've fallen into a rather big slump and just can't find the motivation to write at the moment. Adding to that, starting next week will kick off the busiest two months of the year where I work. This means during July and August I'll be working 6-Day weeks and 10-11 hour days.
I really don't think I'll get too much done, and I'll spend my one day off just generally doing nothing, which means my writing will slow to a crawl during this time.
I want to stress that this is not a hiatus notice. I will continue working on the stories, just... very slowly.

I'm a chef. Being a chef is hard, but rewarding. Also it's just for 2 months, In march, april and november I work 3 day weeks and I get the whole of December off with full pay, so it cancels out. (also, the pay is great)

Y'know, as soon as wrote that I instantly thought back to my own days as a chef and heard past-me mutter "sounds about right". Yer a stronger person than I, mate, because working the summer shifts absolutely destroyed me.

Honestly, as long as you’re good, it’s fine. The fact that you’re writing at all, no matter the speed, is great.
