This time on super: Rainbow Dash gets arrested.
Whew, that's one hell of a chapter, isn't it? Of course, this ended up turning into a three part chapter because by the time I realized I was ready to publish the next part, I noticed that my word doc was 22,000 words long. The first part is only like a third of that, so maybe it's a good idea to split it up more than once. I wouldn't want to read a 14,000 word chapter, so yeah.
Lots of words flying around in this chapter, another side of the story from the perspective of somepony old enough to see the rise and fall of Red Hoof and all the things that came with it. We never hear the opinion of somepony who knew what all the Crow did as it was happening, so none of the characters in this story really knew the severity of how far she actually went during her little dark period. New perspectives on everything about Rainbow's character and I ended up getting really into it. The only funny thing about all of this is that this is like, the one chapter that pretty much never strayed from my outline, like, at all.
There was one kinda major detail that I changed in the middle of writing it, but for the most part, this is the same as it was when I started. Hope you enjoy it, the tension in this chapter is a little bit more than most. Since the next half is mostly done already, I'll go ahead and promise the final part of this chapter for Monday, then likely take a break for a week. I ended up writing every day non stop for the past few days, so I think I've actually earned this one.
