    A Cult's Extremism

For years, I stayed away. For years, I was absent. And now, has the brony fandom come to this?

    The Point of No Return

Yes, I am spoiling the ending of MLP:FiM Season 8, and I am doing it because after looking into it, the ending is WORSE than "Twilight's Kingdom", WORSE than "The Cutie Re-Mark", WORSE than any of those bad MLP:FiM episodes than I've seen put together, and WORSE than the dark times of Spongebob! That means WORSE than "Demolition Doofus", "Pet Sitter Pat", "The Card", "Oral Report", "Boating

    Sins of Bronies Past

Many fandoms are toxic. The Internet has degraded over 20+ years and while net neutrality is slowly dying, perhaps because of toxic fandoms, this could deserve to happen. These troubled fandoms include Steven Universe, Star Wars, and of course MLP:FiM. The French Invented "Alicorn"

    Bronies, check this out!

Notice these exact words that need to be read at least 100 times on the chance that it doesn't sink in the first few times, or on the off chance that I hear something stupid such as "Alicorn is a brony-originated term".

Sins of Bronies Past · 1:09am Jun 19th, 2018

Many fandoms are toxic. The Internet has degraded over 20+ years and while net neutrality is slowly dying, perhaps because of toxic fandoms, this could deserve to happen. These troubled fandoms include Steven Universe, Star Wars, and of course MLP:FiM. I used to respect the brony fandom because of what they used to represent and stand for, until the fandom decided to abandon their "love and tolerate" ways and became just another toxic fandom. Now I've had plenty of good reasons to torment the brony fandom, because they, as well as other fandoms out there, have scored irreparable damage to the real world, much of it unforgivable.

The Star Wars fan base drove actors Kelly Marie Tran and later Daisy Ridley to delete their social media accounts due to cyber-bullying. Feel bad yet? No? Well, how about this? I just received a report that Jake Lloyd suffered far worse and during his childhood, I might add. Where is he now? In a mental institute being constantly drugged for treatment. Cause guess who put him there? The Star Wars fandom did. Jake Lloyd was harassed and bullied before social media was even a thing because George Lucas put together Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Actors get to pay for directors making bad movies? You bet they did. Rian Johnson directed Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but who cares? Let's scar-pool the actors because they were in it! See what the problem is?

And I cannot stress enough just how bad the brony fanbase has been or still is even today. If the death threats made against Amy Keating Rogers are considered minute, which I'll never believe, then remember that bronies on social media caused Michael Morones, a little boy, to nearly take his own life. Sure, it went viral and a lot of fans felt sorry for him, but don't forget who drove him to that point. The fandom itself did. And then there's Adam Smith, a teenager who actually succeeded in committing suicide over being cyber-bullied. He had recorded himself in a video he put on YouTube, something about an apology, but even then, the brony fandom refused to relent and there he went.

So, because of what happened to Jake Lloyd, Michael Morones, Adam Smith, and presumably many, many others and what they had to go through, and in the case of young Michael, live with possible trauma for life, I cannot express my disgust, disdain, distaste, and disappointment the day the bronies betrayed the Internet and so themselves. I knew my trying to get even was not the answer, but I won't regret it, because what the brony and Star Wars fandoms have done is 100% unforgivable, messing with people's lives and changing them for the worst. Is this the Internet Bill Gates wanted? Is this truly what social media is about? You can call me a toxic nuisance and a toxic waste of time and a bunch of other insulting stuff as many times as you like, but I know the truth. These fandoms I speak of have been more toxic, and maybe still are, than I could ever become. I'm just one user, and a fandom is but many. For those of you who still despise me, I want you to think of all the people's lives affected by toxic fandoms up and down the Internet, some that have left this world even. Because suicide, mental trauma, and death threats are no jokes. And I can assure you that you won't find me making death threats or telling people to off themselves.

Still hate me? I'm counting on that, so I'll be waiting...

Well I for one am glad that there are still people who are willing to say these things and not hold back at all.

Indeed. People who hate me have probably aimed to hold me back, but I will never stand down, and especially not in the face of hate.

4885475 lol the biggest problem with toxicity in the brony fandom is that there are some very toxic non-broneis trying their best to give them a bad name, and failing spectacularly, and if they're so bad, why are you here? Hmmmmm is it just because your pouting about something, or are you just here to entertain us all, because you excelling at giving us a cheap giggle that's for sure, and stands down from what? From what you said there is nothing for you here "they aiming to hold me back" from what? Hmmmm,

but on a serious note, maybe the problem is you both joined the herd for the wrong reasons, you both seem to be from a different subculture originally, and you came here expecting to be treated a certain way just because you're here, or maybe you joined for the right reasons, but somewhere along the lines that reason has been lost, or maybe you did something that goes against people here, at the end of the day we are a collective, each individual a cog in a engine, and cogs only work when in the engine, which you two seem to not be, and wonder why your not getting anywhere

4888022
Maybe. That doesn't mean we should just ignore all the others.
I just come here to read stories, enjoy them if they're good, maybe provide feedback if the author is cool with it. Never had any goals other than that with this site, I'm right where I want to be.

If you think that's the biggest problem, then can you answer for the death threats against Amy Keating Rogers, driving two young men to suicide, Internet drama, Cupcakes, Smile HD, and such? Buddy, bronies brought on their own toxic reputation themselves and they don't need anti-bronies to rub it in their faces. If anything, rubbing salt or lemon juice in their wounds is probably done just to see if they're actually capable of still having real feelings like they used to. I never joined their fandom at all. I just came here to write fan fiction and I still think there's a difference between that and being a crazed fan. You can like the show and write fan fiction and still not be considered a brony and this site has done very poorly acknowledging this.
