Minor spoilers for future chapters of Pony-Me and My Own Reality · 5:56am Jun 12th, 2018

So, you know Timothy Carter, AKA Spike (In Pony-Me) or Caleb Waterman (In My Own Reality)?

Yeah. This'll be about him. Catch y'all below the break if you dare...

So, Timothy kinda came and went rather quickly in the Pony-Me, without really much of any sort of background established, unlike Lisa and Samantha, whose out-of-simulation lives have been hinted at many times before.

Guess what? He actually hasn't rejoined yet. Not because he didn't know how to, but because he wasn't in Snowbush. When he stated that he'd be going back to Equestria, they were still in Mountain View.

Another curveball? Timothy Carter is biologically Lisa's little brother. Going back to how Samantha hinted a couple times to a dark reason why Lisa wanted to stay in the simulations for good when it was first created, shortly after a car accident that killed their parents, Lisa and Timothy were separated, with the former taken in by Professor Argall, a family friend, and the latter being adopted before Argall could gain legal custody. Lisa had previously known Argall already, and was able to communicate that she did. However, Timothy was still an infant at the time, and was instead placed in the care of others, as it was deemed that Argall didn't have the capability to handle more than one child at once due to how often he'd spend the entire day working, only returning at night. Because of this, Lisa before the simulations was largely shut-in, still trying to understand the circumstances of her parents' deaths.

Because of the fact that Timothy was adopted into the Carter family, it is instead pure coincidence that the family joined the Pony-Me simulation, allowing Timothy to randomly be placed into the role of Spike at a very young age, hence why he remembers so little of his pre-simulation life.

Yes, yes. I'm aware that because of this, Pony-Me has jumped onto the "dead parents" bandwagon of protagonists, but this is the reason why Argall continues to treat Lisa almost as if she were his own child.

As for what's going on right now, Timothy is still alone in Mountain View, while the others have long-since left the city.

Also, don't worry if Samantha/Pinkie's subplot seems to have progressed towards closure. There's still plenty more to reveal in the girl...

EDIT: Whoops. I forgot to mention that while most of this also applies to Timothy in My Own Reality, being adopted away to another family specifically applies to Pony-Me. In My Own Reality, he is instead taken in by Argall's relatives, allowing him to rejoin his sister later on as he grew older.
