The Mean 7 Rambles

This, along with other Chrysalis episodes, was one of my favorites.
Here are some quotes that I particularly enjoyed (along with my reactions):

Chrysalis: (rants about Main 6 and making evil clones to destroy Starlight)
Me: You’re an insane bitch and I love this so much.

Chrysalis: (ranting to Mean 7 about being minions)
Me: Am I just watching what would happen if the Discorded Mane 6 happened again? Because I’m loving that too. Especially if they get on Chrysalis’ nerves. Oh Morgan is gonna love this.

Dark!Twilight (I’m calling her “Darklight” for now): We’ll cover more ground if we divide our resources.
Me: (giggles) She just said “let’s split up”. They’re gonna die and Chrysalis is pissed and this episode gets better, and better.

Applelie: The secret password is ‘rutabaga’.
Me: What the Hufflefuck did you just say? Because that’s my thing. I’ve got it written down in a lot of fics (some unpublished) that Morgan/Raspberry use the codeword ‘rutabaga’ for a lot of things. It’s like...a thing for her. First they take the Thorax idea from me, then the multi-dimensional magic book, and now RUTABAGA?! That’s the last straw. This is war.
Me: Also...hahahaha that’s such a stupid thing for her to say.

Pinkie: And then we all got magic hair and then your castle popped up and then we sang about rainbows-
Me: (serious) This was the explanation I always wanted to hear. Why isn’t there a fanfic of Pinkie just explaining all the seasons to Starlight or something? I’d read that.

Me: Did Applelie just say ‘127 hours’? And NOT make a reference to what happened in the movie? ...I’m disappointed in you, Applelie. That would’ve been an awesome lie.

Pinkie Pie: Twilight so’s excitied for her ‘retreat’ she doesn’t care when her friends are upset!
Me: I FEEL THE NEED TO POINT OUT THAT FLUTTERSHY IS STILL CRYING!

Twilight: If our friendship can handle this, we can handle anything.
Me: I’m so...offended (or is it disappointed?)...that they didn’t reveal Chrysalis to y’all...and I’m also so relieved, that’s too much stress for me right now. Also, can I have a song of Pinkie Pie singing “Worst Day Ever” to the tune of Spongebob?

But yeah that’s basically how this went for me. All in all, a great episode. Five out of five. Would recommend.
