A JD Review: MLP Season 8 Episode 13 - "The Mean Six" · 10:22pm Jun 10th, 2018
The one where the ponies die.
She ded.
Alrighty hoo! In this week's episode, we see the return of our favorite bad girl, Queen Chrysalis! Now just Chrysalis, 'cause, you know, no people to rule. Yeah, but Chrysalis wants her revenge on Starlight and the Mane 6, so she makes herself six copies of our favorite little ponies, planning to use them to control the Elements of Harmony in her favor. Unfortunately, the Tree of Harmony has other plans, and proceeds to slowly kill the fake ponies. Pretty graphic actually.
This episode was fun. I loved the interactions of all these characters, especially the Mean Six, and especially Rarity and Fluttershy, they were especially fun to watch. Especially. I do hope we get to see Chrysalis again, next time in her Cozy Glow disguise (I'm sticking with the theory, boys!).
Fun episode. 9/10. Now we wait for the hiatus. 
What did you all think of it?
T'was cool, though the ponies melting is quite violent, love violence but still not tolerate pony English, the exclusively only thing I don't like about MLP. Hope you rewrite the story with Chrysalis on it, or maybe wait for Season 8 to go further or reach its conclusion, besides it has 26 episodes, but that'll be boring, cuz we're anticipating further chapters from you.
Colossal epic fail in its purest form
There was definitely fun moments in the episode, but I feel there was too much wasted potential in this idea especially for a Chrysalis returns episode. It’s disappointing we didn’t even get a confrontation between the two groups and the episode felt a little pointless.
Though dang the Tree of Harmony straight up killed them. The ponies may be forgiving, but the Tree straight up kills you. I do like that the Tree can defend itself and it can’t be fooled by a couple of fakes.
It wasn’t bad but I think the wasted potential makes this the 2nd worst episode of the season IMO. Noncompete clause is still the worst.

Yeah that’s what I’m hoping for or at least for the next season.
I just don't get how how the they couldn't tell the darker shades or different colors of their Tattooed Asses(not Donkeys) on the clones and see the difference or once they regroup after they make up discuss the impossibility like one was there while the other was there at the same time, I expected someone like Twilight to figure out something fishy was going on but she was just as clueless as the rest
